Hi there,

I thought it would be fun to see if there are other Moms with kids in this same group. I have already joined the May 20, 2011 PIR group but thought it would be fun to meet others in this same group. Just to keep tabs on each other and our kiddos! Since the 927 Div is a special division , maybe once we start hearing from our children, boyfriends, girlfriends and spouses we can get to know about each other and all of them and thier accomplishments! Lets brag about them here!

Let me hear what you think? Then when PIR arrives we can find each other to support them and be proud together.

No kidding, I'm getting sick just thinking about all the icky stuff going around down there. Not only that but I have to take my one year old there?! Lot's of hand sanitizer. That's what I'm doing. FFD means Fit for Full Duty. Mines been lit since yesterday!!!! I hope they do really good.

Yea something is definitely going around, hope our boys get over whatever they have and finish bootcamp so we can see them! Still no word on BS yet? Hopefully we'll find out soon.

Bjosewski: It took awhile for my letters to get to my SR too. He wrote me a couple letters in the beginning worried that I forgot about him or I didn't care about him anymore lol... I felt so bad because I letters weren't getting to him. Once he received them; mail came and went. (Sometimes it took awhile though.) SNAIL MAIL truly. =)

Yea definitely keep your little one bundled up. I was looking at the weather for this week's graduation and it looks like its going to rain, so ladies bring your umbrellas, it might rain next week. Woohooo! we can officially say WE ARE SEEING OUR SR'S next week. Now back to stalking our mailman for our letters!

Well just 9 more days!!  Someone on our PIR group suggested changing our profile pictures to a blue candle in honor of all of the SR's doing BS21 this week! (Even though we have no idea when our guys and gals will be doing theirs) It is possible that 927 could be going tonight or wed/Thurs. BJ's husband's letter did say "this week" and I think those could be the dates. I am going to light my candle tonight at 8 pm Great Lakes time and be thinking positive thoughts for those doing BS! Then I will do it again on Wed/Thurs. Please post immediately if you get your "Call"  Best of Luck  and God Bless all of our soon to be Sailors!!
My blue candle is lit and my prayers are being lifted up!  9 more days, ladies!!  Oh, I'm so excited!!  I pray for God's healing hand over our SRs!!  I sure hope they are feeling better and gaining strength for this tough week!  I just know they will do so great!!  I hope to get a letter tomorrow.  As soon as I know a date about BS21, I will post it ASAP!!  Hugs to all of you!  Have a wonderful and blessed day!
My SR told me his div (927) is an all guys division. But I will change my picture once I get home. We don't even know when our boys are going! But I will be praying for them and will be looking out for mail.

I am just going to go with keeping my LED tea lights going until I hear from our son or his gf! I figure we will get the call before I ever hear a date for sure! The first group goes tonight so I pray they all kick some butt!! Go get 'em Training Group 27!!  I HOPE EVERY ONE IS FEELING GOOD AND DOES WELL! Please give us a heads up if anyone gets the call or a date!

HUGS to all of you!

JUST 8 MORE DAYS!  :)

My son's girlfriend got a letter yesterday that said that BS21 is Sunday night.  That means CALLS on Monday!!! WHOOHOOO!!!! Can't wait to get that call for sure. :)
WHOOP!!  Thanks for letting us know!!  :)
Yay! Thanks for letting us know. We finally have a date! Thank you. I will be glued by my phone. Its Thursday so that means letters today. Anxiously waiting on them to hear how my bf is doing. Hopefully he got over the Flu and is feeling better. My candle will be lit Sunday night.
That is awesome!!! YAY! Thanks for letting us know!!!
Traci! My son's girlfriend also told us BS21 is Sunday night!! I would say that confirms it!! HoooooYah 927! Praying for success, good health and will light my candles!!! Did anyone update the PIR group or Dianep's Battlestations group?
