OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Since we will all be sitting in the same section of the bleachers at PIR, maybe it would be nice to have us all post something here in this section.  We could keep up with what the Division is doing by the letters others are receiving from this Division as well.

This is a link to our group on FB.  We have a discussion page also.

Oh, no, I meant someone from the PIR group made their own so it was private and unsensored by the powers that be. I have no desire to be under constant "supervision" of RTC lol

Oh sorry.  I didn't see that

I feel like my emotions are just barely under the skin right now.  Could burst into tears at any moment.....very anxious and prayerful for our SRs.  Can't think of much else today....will probably do a lot of staring at the candle tonight. ha ha.

We are all in this together!!  Hugs to everyone today.

I know I am a nervous wreck!!

When it rains, it POURS.

Poor kid hurt her groin or something, trying to run like the wind. She passed her PFA, but on the way to finishing, she pulled something...at least she finished THAT part. She's unsure about completing  BS...but I guess I will find out tomorrow. Her next part of the letter dated 2 days later,  said it was feeling a little better, so hopefully that will be good enough to complete it.

If ANYONE hears anything about her via your SR's soon to be sailors, PLEAAAAAAASE let me know. I'm so worried now...again...

I wish I could have talked to my SR before tonite just to wish him luck!! I guess we'll get a call tomorrow. Wonder will it be morning or later in the day. I saw in a post that all the boys lost their privleges wonder why? Good luck to all and God Bless division 174!! And know a lot of mamas everywhere are waiting and praying for the children that are now men and women that will hopefully be United States Sailor by this time tomorrow!!
Phone calls will start coming in most times after noon Chicago time.  I told everyone I know here not to call unless it was an emergency, I want to keep the phone line open all day tomorrow until after the phone call.  I just don't want to take a chance and miss it....

Oh ladies...I hope our kiddos huddle and say a prayer before tonight begins.  I know they have all grown so much in the last 7 weeks and are ready for what they are going to encounter tonight.  I pray they use these skills to make good decisions tonight and respond appropriately under such intense pressure.  I hope they feel the outpouring of love coming their way and the proud family that awaits them!!!!

Thank you ladies for being here!!!

Husband finally filled me in on some more of the talk her had with our daughter last night and much to my dismay he told me that our daughter told him that 7 were being asmoe'd for not passing their PFA, not sure if it is in division 174 or 173 & 174, but he did say that 7 did not pass their PFA.
Oh no!  So sorry to hear this!
