Since we will all be sitting in the same section of the bleachers at PIR, maybe it would be nice to have us all post something here in this section.  We could keep up with what the Division is doing by the letters others are receiving from this Division as well.

Absolutely!  Whoever receives their call first will post, I'm sure!  Can't wait until we start hearing from them.....but it could be a long day.  We can at least keep each other encouraged and calm. :-)  Deep breaths,....breath,...breath...
Lol...it makes me feel so much better to not be alone here!  I really should get some work done!  Oh well

I was up and down all night as well, didn't want to take the chance that the candle would go out and it would jinx them, so I keep waking up about every 45 minutes to an hour and getting out of bed to walk into the kitchen to make sure the candle stayed lit.  I even went to the extreme of having a back up candle for the first candle, my husband thought I was crazy, but I know deep down he was grateful for the blue candle as well, this morning when he got up to go to work, he leaned over and kissed me and said he had a good feeling that all "your" (meaning all of us here), blue candles did the trick and they are all celebrating this morning.

I just wish it was after lunch so we would all start receiving phone calls, I am on pins and needles almost like waiting for a baby to be born...well I guess we are kind of doing that, but we are waiting for a "sailor" to be born....

Maybe I will start the washer, at least while I am sitting here, I can be productive at doing something other then staring at the phone and the computer.

"I am on pins and needles almost like waiting for a baby to be born.." word for word on how I feel. If my daughter ever starts a family, I'll be damned if I'm gonna sit by a phone waiting. I'll fly to wherever she is and wait in the waiting room. No more of this phone call stress!!!! I was wondering if anyone else felt that way (waiting for a baby to be born thing).

I knew I liked you, Brandi's mom. We seem to have lots in common :)

My son blew out the candle last night, but I can't blame him honestly. We are all safety conscious in the house and none of us wanted to sleep w/a candle burning, but I didn't have the heart to do it myself. I lit it first thing this morning. But word of advise to myself...get an unscented candle next time. 16 hrs of a scented candle burning is overwhelming!

Anyone remember who was making all of the ribbons for us?
I have made a little over a 100 so hopefully we will have enough for everyone, not only at the meet and greet but to pass out at the PIR as well in our section.  Would love to see everyone in our section with something that is all alike, I think it would make our kids proud.
I am making 100 of the ribbons that Brani's mom created.  I almost have them all cut out.  Next step is to tape the safety pins to the back.  They look nice very nice I think.
Why are phone not ringing???

I was just thinking the same thing!  My candle is still burning too!  Lol

It's the military,....I'm sure that there is paperwork involved. :-)

But, I agree with Patti,....it is like waiting on giving birth....high anxiety.

Considering I have a 9 month old, I remember all to well.  At least giving birth I felt like I knew somewhat what was happening.  I hate being in the dark!!
Tic toc, tic toc 1pm. Thank goodness my 16 yr old is bringing a friend home for dinner, it's keeping me busy. Cell right next to me!! And that scented candle is masking all of the chopped onions...another plus. Kinda funny that I'm sitting here making a dish I know she would love, and my son even said "at least Brittany isn't here, she won't eat all of the cucumbers!".
