Hi there,

I thought it would be fun to see if there are other Moms with kids in this same group. I have already joined the May 20, 2011 PIR group but thought it would be fun to meet others in this same group. Just to keep tabs on each other and our kiddos! Since the 927 Div is a special division , maybe once we start hearing from our children, boyfriends, girlfriends and spouses we can get to know about each other and all of them and thier accomplishments! Lets brag about them here!

Let me hear what you think? Then when PIR arrives we can find each other to support them and be proud together.

Kris! So glad you found them!! Yep you have to join the groups to be able to read and add to the posts! I hope that you get to spend as much time as possible with your SR (Then Sailor!!) Are you going to be there Thurs night for the Meet and Greet at the Ramada?  I can't wait to meet all of my new friends I've made since joining N4M's!! Hope to see you there!

Thanks, Connie for your reply....can you direct me to the gal who is doing ribbons??  Do I have time to get it?  Am new to all of this....thanks for your help.  You seem to be very knowegable about it all!  My SR is the tallest so is always at the end of the line....will be hard to pick him out of photos....So excited about BS21 tonight......will try and be at the Meet and Greet and meet all of you!  If we mail any more letters our SR won't receive them before PIR - so strange not to be able to communicate with him.

Kris I just saw this post, I am sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner! The ribbon lady is a member of this group, Lala ribbon lady. She actually posted something last night on the PIR group. I hope that you can get a hold of her in time to get a ribbon, if not maybe she has a suggestion for something you could do yourself!
Thanks for all of the information ladies!!  I will be lifting our SRs up in prayer, especially during BS21 on Sunday night!!  I know they will be amazing!  I received my ribbons today!!  They look so great!!  I know our SRs will appreciate them and they will certainly stand out!!  Thanks Connie for getting that going!  Yay!  I am so excited for PIR!!  You have no idea!!  I just can't stand it!!  One more week!!!  WHOOP!  Hugs to all of you!!
I received a letter from my SR today! He said now that it is getting close tensions are high and they are ready to be done. They are so close. I'm so proud! Even though he said everyone is on edge, he seemed like he was feeling better. It was a longer letter than the one I received Monday.

jmdc, It sure sounds like a lot of letters have been getting out to families and Girlfriends this week! My son's letter said he had been so very sick that there were some things he still had to make up, it sounded to me to be class work rather than anything else.  I know that he is still scheduled to PIR on time. I pray that he doesn't get hael back! SIQ can sure throw a wrench in the works!

I spoke with B's gf last night and she said she had gotten 3 letters from him this past week! I am so glad. She will be getting the I'm a Sailor call on Mon and then will call me! I think that is so precious! :)

Hoping you all have a grrrreat weekend< we are decluttering the house this week and today is the worst "Ugly Spare Bedroom" The place is the Bermuda Triangle of southern Colorado! We are still sending out search parties for a small boy child that went in there 13 yrs ago and has been seen since! That is where B has tossed all of the kid stuff or unwanted stuff from his childhood! Somethings we will keep but the rest is going to the US Highway 50n Garage sale this year!! Hugs and Prayers for only the best!

"Congratulations to this week's Captain's Cup winners! Taking the trophy for the All-Male Divisions was Div. 811; Integrated Divisions went to Div. 175; & taking top honors for the Motivational Chant was Div. 927.

Captain's Cup is a fun, friendly athletic event between divisions who are set to graduate later in the week. The day includes events such as tug-of-war, basketball, volleyball, relay races & more." From the Facebook RTC page. Hooyah for our almost to be Sailors for being so loud!!! Haha
What great news! Congrats to all of our guys!
Hey everyone tomorrow is battlestations for our division. Is anyone else as anxious and excited as I am. I can't contain it. My phone is glued to my side. Lets all pray for our soon to be sailors and give a big HOOOOOOYAAAAAAH 927!!!!!

I received a letter today!!  Oh, I'm so excited!!  I'm happy they won best motivational chant!  It just shows they are such great men!  BS21 is tomorrow night, ladies!!!  My prayers are with them!  PIR is almost here!!!! I miss him SO much!!  I can't wait to see him and also to meet all of you!  Hugs!!

Who is going to be at the Meet & Greet??  Are we going to wear our ribbons then too??

HooooooooooYah! Hoooooyah! Hooyah..............

Our guys have come together as a team and won the motvational Chant! I take that as a very good thing!

Battlestations21 is  tonight! I am so excited I am anxious, nervous and wired! I will probably be a buzzing all over today just trying to stay busy! I know I will drive my Hubby crazy! LOL Lets burn those blue candles bright! Best of luck to everyone of them! Be sure to get a goodnights sleep if you can! Yoou will need your strength when the calls start to come in :)

I was thinking of wearing my ribbon to both events,  Unless you ladies think we should save them only for PIR. It would make it easier to find each other at the meet and greet. I will leave it up to each of you. What do you think gang?

Sending Love  and support to all of our guys and to all of you! Huge Hugs!

I think that the ribbons thing for our divison for the meet and greet is a good idea. Personally, I don't know what anyone looks like so I don't know if I could find anyone in the crowd. I don't have a ribbon yet, I think I might make mine, but I think it's a good idea.

I found out the other day that I get to see my husband before graduation. He found out that his job is going to be basically the usher so he'll be the one showing you to your seat, or to the bathroom. Lol.
