Hi there,

I thought it would be fun to see if there are other Moms with kids in this same group. I have already joined the May 20, 2011 PIR group but thought it would be fun to meet others in this same group. Just to keep tabs on each other and our kiddos! Since the 927 Div is a special division , maybe once we start hearing from our children, boyfriends, girlfriends and spouses we can get to know about each other and all of them and thier accomplishments! Lets brag about them here!

Let me hear what you think? Then when PIR arrives we can find each other to support them and be proud together.

That is neat for you BJ, Just remember you can't hug him or squeeze him or kiss him until after PIR! But I am sure you can very quietly visit with him!!

AWW! LUCKY!

You get to see him before PIR. I have to wait after the ceremony which I heard was 3 hours!

I cant believe we're almost there. Its been 2 months!

Haha, that may be true about "seeing him" and talking to him a little but I think that will be all I'm allowed to do. So it's not really all that exciting. But I do agree, 2 months and it's only 5 days away! I'm so excited to not only see him again, but to meet you all for the first time. Lol.

BJ, I know that it is all you will be allowed to do! I read it from some of the moms ahead of us! They were beside themselves! The Navy frowns on we women gushing, slobbering and getting makeup on THEIR SAILORS! LOL

Cant wait to meet all of you as well!

Thanks for all the good info out here. Good to know about Battlestations. I am going to sleep soon and my candle is lit on my nightstand.  Got two letters this week and he seemed great, says they "crushed" their first performance at graduation and that honor guard is awesome and then they were heading to the tear gas chamber.  I was able to spot my SR on the facebook photos both on May 6 and May 13 grad photos. Looking forward to meeting all at the meet and greet.  Got our ribbons yesterday.

Will be working like crazy next two days to get ready for the trip.  Special thoughts and prayers for battlestations tonight to all.....

That is awesome that they are doing so great in the  performances! Is your SR in the honor guard? I can't wait to see the gang perform! Our son will be with all of the Big Wigs, so we won't even get to see him during PIR. Bit I am planning on scoping out this Mysterious "Back room" he keeps tellin me about! I would love to just get a glimpse or even a picture of him!
Hi Connie - my son also will be in the back room with the commanding officers!!   It is going to be a long day waiting for that phone call.....Kris

Hey everyone, If you have not RSVP'd to Patti for the Meet and Greet @ the Ramada Inn, it would be a good idea to do so today or tomorrow at the ;latest. She is turning in #'s Wed! Go to the PIR discussions and let her now if you are coming and how many of you there will be! Don't want to miss any of you!!

Hope you are all holding up well today as we wait for those wonderful phone calls from our SAILORS!!! Please post as soon as you hear and try to remember in your excitement to find out if everyone passed from DIV 927! Then post it so other Mom's and girlfriends will at least know as well! Here's to a day full of Pride, Love, Honor and Ahppiness to all of us and to the families and special ones of Div 811 too!

Also Brandi's Mom started a discussion group (under our main PIR group) called BOOT CAMP PHOTOS! It shares some of the pictures that RTC has posted. You can post any pics you found of you SR's div, pics of your SR etc. I actually found 2 of our guy! There are several pics now to see! Check it out..

It's capping time!!!!!  Keep your ears to the phone Ladies!
Bravo Zulu it is Capping time!! Hope everyone passed!

It's capping time!!  WOW!!  I'm so excited and proud!!  They have made it through!!  I must admit I had a hard time going to sleep and was a little restless.  I went and prayed at my church during their first hour of BS21 so they were lifted up!  I pray that they feel such joy and pride when they receive their "Navy" cap!!!  AMAZING!!!

Wow I bet our sailors are real proud right now. Imagine putting that cap on for the first time. No more recruit! Lol makes me so proud I just want to cry. I know they are just bursting with pride. I can't wait until pir. :)
