Hi Cher I finally got 2 letters from my daughter today. She also got 2 ribbons and one medal .. yay for our kids..
seems like they are finally getting it together as far as teamwork goes ... 2 wks to go .. Can`t wait !!
After going 8 days without any letters, I finally got one 2 days ago! =) He's doing very well also! He got his marksmanship ribbon... I'm glad he passed... It was the first time he had ever used a firearm. I also received some INCREDIBLE news! My hubby is the Honor Grad for DIV 189! He went up against 20 other guys he said, and had to go up in front of the Honor Board. I am so proud of him!! I guess you have to be nominated by your peers as well as RDCs in order to even go in front of the board. So it makes me feel good that the other guys look up to him as well! He is also EPO of his division (Education Petty Officer). He passed his second PFA which is great because he didn't pass the first one. He also said that Battle Stations is on the 26th and after that they don't do anything. His RDC told them it will be cake for the last week where they get to go to the NEX and just do random fun stuff. They are treated completely differently from when they first arrived! He can't wait until that happens! haha!
I'm glad I finally got to hear from him! I got my plane ticket, hotel, and car. I don't know if I can last these last 13 day! I may just go crazy first! Tomorrow is my last day at work! I will spend the last week and a half packing and getting everything at home taken care of. He was told that he would be home on June 8th to get me and our stuff to move out to South Carolina!
Can't wait to meet all you wonderful ladies at PIR! Have a good night and talk to you soon!
Thank you! I am so proud! And yes! See you June 2/3!!!
If you go onto the RTC website their are random pictures today and they are division 189. I saw my son in most of them. We were a little disappointed on last tuesday because all we got in the picture was an elbow(we think). These are really good pictures.
