Sign me up.  Susie also posted earlier that she has a son in this division.
you could start a new group for your ship/div. But please stay with our main group as well. Take care ladies!

Ok, thanks, we will !

This is my son's division. I'm so happy that I finally found people whose son and/or daughter are in the same division..yeah!
I was hoping someone will start a group since I have been unsuccesful at figuring it out. Div 225 Ship 12 PIR 07/08.
Lol, I wasn't sure either. It was definitely luck.
I am glad to see that me and MidwestMom have found a few other in Div 225. So if someone makes up a new group just let me know. I would be glad to join it.  So we can stick together through the rollercoaster ride.
I hope someone can help me . Do I have to add people as friends to talk with them? How do I do that?  I not very good at figuring stuff out with the computer.
40 days, 13 hours...YEAH!  Getting that form letter with his address and PIR date was like Christmas.  I can't wait for a real letter and phone call, but it seems easier now that we have a graduation day.  So far, it looks like this is an all male div??
I wait everyday for the mail hoping to hear something from my son. I carry my cell phone around just hoping and praying I don't miss his call. The comment he wrote broke my heart. He said in case your wondering I haven't told one joke since I have arrived. I have a feeling I'm losing my touch. He is the most easy going, happy person with a permanent smile that lights up his face and I hope that he hasn't lost it.

The first days and weeks are hard on them.  They are being yelled at and are learning to do everything 'the Navy way'.  It isn't fun, but the Navy will teach them to do things their way quicker than you or I ever did, lol.  In 40 days, we will have proud sailors to call our sons and it will all be worth it to them and to us!

I am not great at these sites, but if you click on someone's name or profile picture, you can get to their page.  From there, you can click on the envelope and send them a private email, add them as a friend and leave them a message on their wall.  I haven't advanced enough myself to chat yet, lol.

So glad to find a group for my boyfriends div. We've been together for a 6 yrs. now and him leaving for the Navy has definitely been hard... missing him like crazy.  Working on getting out to GL for the PIR, is anyone flying to O'hare?  I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to GL from the airport (and by best I mean the cheapest way...lol) shuttle, rental car, or public transportation?
