I didn't get a letter today, I have a feeling one will be there tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Thank you, you too.
It could be something like transposing the zip code too...that happens to the best of us some days.
Haywhe: All he said was that they were hand picked by their commanders based on their rate or job, and he said he guess their smarts too.  He said that meant their trainning will be 5 weeks with the rest of the time spent on getting their A school orders and preparing for PIR.  Sounds like to me their division was pretty smart and well prepared, so perhaps they don't need to spend as much time learning the other stuff and can push right through.  At least thats what it sounds like.  Either way I think its a good thing.
Well thank you for getting back to me.  That sounds like a good thing, I hope they all do very well. Thanks again
The mailman passed by my house again today.  One thing that makes getting no letter okay is knowing that the other SR's are doing fine, so I know he's okay. No worries... just like to know details of what's going on with him (how he likes it etc).
OK...where are the phone calls???  Seems like most of the other divs already have made them except us and 226, then 226 gets their photo on Facebook; they are sooo lucky!  I hope some of our families can log on Tuesdays and win the next contest!

MidwestMom:  Did I miss something? 226 photo on FB? What is the username? I am on FB most nights and didn't know that the Navy or what had one.  I keep hoping for a phone call also. I am beginning to think that this "push div" is not so good. (just kidding) Want to see him sooner, but would also like to hear from him. I am beginning to think that they are PUSHING them so much that they aren't getting the time out to call us.

No letter today.  Hope everyone has a nice evening and will check in tomorrow.

Read the comment wall for our PIR group.  I'm terrible on FB, but even I was successful at finding it so you'll have no problem.  I think you search Recruit Training Center or Navy Training Center on FB and then you'll find it.  Look in the comments section and you can enlarge the picture.  Maybe someday we'll see our kids on it!
Ok thanks. I will look for it!!!
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1335966734#!/NavyRecruitTrai... Training command facebook page.  They have "Trivia Tuesdays" at 10:00 am central time.  First to answer wins a picture of their SR's division.
Great news..I got my first letter from my SR today. He sent a letter to me, 2 letters to his older brother and one for the whole family.  It was great to hear from him. He did say all they do is fold clothes and make their bed. He also stated that food was pretty good, but feels he is getting fat.  I'm sure PT has started.  The letters I received were written in May.  Looking forward to a new letter or phone call.  I will definitely try to win the trivia next week.
Great news that you finally received a letter today!!!!!
