This is my son's division. Anyone else?

Well everyone look for a new letter. I received a short one today, he said that he didn't have much time to write this time. So, it was short. He did say that there is 81 recruits in his division, that everything is calm, though the division has gone through alot of IT for messing up, and the PT is a bit intense, but his RDC's are pretty harsh on them because they want them to strive for perfection. He says that even though they come from all kinds of backgrounds they all are getting along really well. This coming up Tuesday (6/7 I'm assumming) they take their first exam. That they have taken their 1st part of their swimming test (He PASSED! Hooray) The next part is prone floating, and asked to wish him luck!!!
That is most of his letter, short and sweet. Still not any of the questions that I have been asking in the last 10 + letters. I keep hoping for more, but getting less info. I still don't even know if he had his wisdom teeth removed. I hope everyone else receives a letter soon. Hopefully they will write more than what my son has. Thanks & God Bless our boys!!!!!!
Lorie... I know what you are saying... I wish they would be able to just write short answers to your questions on note. They are only able to use Navy letterhead & envelopes. So, I think I am gonna number them and just ask him to write the number in front of each question, not the question itself. I know they aren't getting much time to write, but maybe between all of us we can get some if not all of the questions answered. It is driving me nuts. I have the list always with me, in case he calls when at work or shopping, etc. Just so I don't forget to ask something.
Just one phone call anytime and I would be much happier, I love the letters but there isn't much in them. I'm doing fine, or I make my bed, iron my own clothes, and stuff like that. I have many other questions. Food not so much. He has always been the human garbage disposal, so I'm sure he is fine on that point. Take care hope everyone gets a letter tomorrow.
Hope you all are getting the calls! The bad news is they didn't do well enough on the written tests to get a 30 minute call this weekend, but my call today lasted 19 minutes so I'm not going to complain! I almost dropped my phone when I saw the area code! He sounds good!
Got my call!!! :) Mine didn't have the area code. It said Unavailable. I was told they did good enough to get 30 minute phone call ?!?! I was in the Dr. office waiting room which had signs for no cell phones. Needless to say, I broke the rules, lol.
My SR just called a little while ago. I'm with you Haywhe... He said he is doing great and that Division 225 was allowed calls because everyone scored over 4.0 on their test today. So, their division is just a marching division no riffles or anything like that. So it will be hard to pick them out of the groups. He said everyone is getting along well together. It was just so great to finally hear his voice again, he sounded so upbeat and happy. Hope to hear from him again next week.
I hope everyone receives a call today from the boys in Division 225!!!!! Hooyah!!!
