omgosh, Sharon. that would be tough w/out A/C...do you have to refrigerate the cookies
asap to get the frosting to set??
I'm amazed at what you are able to accomplish. My days are mostly less productive now that my
10 yr old is home from school for the summer. I'm lucky to have time to pee by myself, and maybe
do a load of laundry! :)
you're amazing. keep up the good work!
Hi swim,
No, I don't place the cookies in the fridge. They are on trays and they "air" dry. I have a fellow cake popper that will share a fast drying royal icing recipe with me and that should work. I just got a call and all the cookies are expected to be at our church tomorrow morning! That is a bit of pressure, so I am hoping they dry fast!
Thanks, I understand how it is with little ones, I have had to pace myself over the years. With the K's being born in less than four years, I was quite busy as well. One would always be needing me for one thing or another, isn't that what kids are for?? Needing mama!! lol
I do laundry in between other things, the washer is wacky so I have to actually hold it while it is in the spin cycles. Old and used, so what can I say? Enjoy the day!!
havent said anything here but I've been experimenting; ive been experimenting!
how do you get something to look that pretty?
Awesome Penny!!!!
I am making some this morning to make four graduate arrangements for the parties tonight and tomorrow. Have done some heavy baking, over 200 "Riboon" cookies for the local Relay for Life walk this weekend. I will be posting pictures on Sym's Chocolates on FB by Monday. Have such a busy schedule for today and the weekend. Enjoy!!
Hi Ladies!
I'm still learning and experimenting here, so I attempt to find ways to lessen the cost until I really know what I'm doing. That being said, don't think I am cheap when I tell you I got a 16 oz package of blueberry cake slices at Wallyworld last night. I think I shall mix them with either sugarfree raspberry or caramel coffee flavorings. I started using those when I had a gastric bypass in order to add flavor to things like milk (yuk) that I needed for protein. I think I shall then dip in white chocolate since I have some white choc chips I got during one of my trips between Louisville and Elmira. My question for you experts: how do you make the dipping look nice. Mine are always flat on the bottom with ooze coming out. What am I doing wrong? I got the wilton dipping tools--the round dipper for berries and balls- dig into the balls. Advise me oh wonderful women and maybe some will make it to GC next week!
oh how beautiful. I am sooo jealous of your talent!
