My stepson is in this division as well.

I wasn't sure if anyone was able to get a group set up or not - I set one up - search Ship 12 Div 225 to join. If there is already one set up let me know and I will join that one.

My stepson is in this Division - graduation date of July 8.  This is all new to me!  My husband is (was) a Marine before he and I got together but this is my first "experience" with a family member serving!  Hope to chat with some of you soon!!

Stacy

Hi slwag32,  Good to see someone else has a loved one in this group.  Have you guys had any more calls or letters lately?  I received a letter Thursday from my son. It was a positive letter, but he didn't really mention any specifics of any kind.

The last correspondence we received was I believe Wednesday - that is the day we usually receive our letters.   He did call for his girlfriend last week on Thursday  - she happened to be at our house so my husband got to talk to him too - that worked out perfectly!  His last letter was sort of brief, said things were going pretty good and that he was ready to be done!  He said to be prepared for him to talk a mile a minute when we get to spend time with him after graduation because he has a lot to tell us.

Cool!  I can't wait to hear about all of the things they have done.  I keep hearing about flags and the Captains Cup but my son hasnt mention any of that stuff or how well they are doing as a division.  Im sure he doesnt have time to write it all but I would just like to know that they are all getting along and working as a team. It's rough not talking or texting (that seemed to be our way of communication most days) but it's not much longer until I get a much needed hug!!

Welcome, slwag32 (Stacy).

My boyfriend is in this division!

Welcome, taypay09.

I haven't heard anything about winning flags either, but earlier we were told that Captain's Cup would be July 2nd for our group.  Can't wait till Wednesday--my mail day!
I didnt win the trivia question today, sorry.  It's amazing how quickly people have these answers.  Looking forward to my letter tomorrow.
Again, I was at work and knew it was coming up.  Next thing I know it was 10:03 and knew I was too late.  I don't think I would have found it as fast as the others anyway :(
This div seems like it is going to be the div that doesn't earn any extra phone calls.  :(  Oh well, we're getting close to PIR.  Here's hoping for long, upbeat letters for all either today or tomorrow!
