Carol....just checking to see if you got a letter today?  I still didn't and was really surprised.  I am about 850 miles away, but still...if it was mailed on Monday, I should have gotten it by now.  I am worried that something happened and he wasn't able to write.

Hi my SR called us Friday.  He explained that this week is week 3 of training.  The first week and a half (arrived may 25th) was P week (processing week).  Last week was week 2.  This is 3.  He said week 3 and 4 are the hardest.  They call week 4 is HELL WEEK.  So keep those letter going.  I know it is hard to wait for those cards and letters but remember it isn't our SR's....they have to have permission.  Would you like to talk to our RDC's mothers!!!! :-)

Has anyone gotten more phone calls today?

Not I.  Did you think they were going to get to call again soon?

We got a call tonite. He sounds happy and is doing well can't wait

to graduate. Hope others get their calls as well.

Goodnite ladies.

Mary

Glad to hear you got to talk to him, Mary!  I guess I thought they all got to call on Sunday, but I read somewhere that there are 78 recruits in there division.  Not sure if that is right or not.  Forgot to ask my son that question.  Anyway, stands to reason that it would take more than on day to let everyone call, as I am sure they only allow a small window (a couple of hours maybe?) for the calls.  I know my son could only talk about 10 minutes.  Letters should begin arriving for us today.  I expect mine tomorrow, though.  Can't wait to hear news from everyone on how things have been for their recruit!
division 234 is photographed on the facebook RTC page under random pictures, congrats to you guys, go look at your SR marching!!!
I had NO idea there WAS an RTC page???  Wow...I can't wait to get home and see if my son is on there!  I can't see FB at work!
I emailed it to you!!
How do the pictures of them at RTC get on Facebook?  Did you see any of ship 02 div 936
Is there anyway to get the pictures posted here under PIR date. The 936 is an all male division...do you see them?
i only know the one group is 234, because someone thought it was 937, but there are two other random pictures there as well , but no one has identified them yet...
