Hi. I know i feel the same way. I hope theres lots of positive statements in this weeks letter.we are getting closer.....
Does anyone have any idea what week/day they are on today?  Mine thought they'd get a call week 6/day 1, but I almost think that will be their 'I'm a sailor call'.  Received a longer letter today.  Apparently he's forgoing some sleep to write.  Sounds very tired, but pretty upbeat and positive.   This past Monday they were to have a zone inspection.  Tuesday they were going to shoot, drill inspection was today, tomorrow is a test 7(?) and Friday is damage control and another haircut.  He said they earned a flag for doing so well on the PFT and the weapons turnover inspection, but I couldn't figure out if they had 2 or 3 flags.
I just got my phone call !!!  Sounded really good.  He also said that they had their picture taken when they were marching today.  I don't know if that will be posted on the Random Pics on Facebook tomorrow or not.  Definitely will watch for them :)
Just checked - random pics are posted !!!!
YES, we FINALLY got our FIRST chance to talk to our son!  He called my cell phone close to 1 pm today (Thursday); we talked for about 20 minutes.  He sounded good.  He said the average test score in their Division was 4.3 out of 5.
Ok DIV 225, I need your prayers...my SR missed his run time again!
TheMomma..ill keep your son in my prayers. Im sure the next time he will pass with flying colors! :-)

Hi Everyone! According to my sons letter yesterday they should be finishing Week 4 today I believe.

To: The Momma  -  My son passed that but had trouble with the Prone floating. They will get another chance or two to pass it.  It took my son the sinker three tries before he passed it, but I will most definiately pray for him.  I think I had everyone I know praying for my son to pass the floating.

MidwestMom  -  Our son's bunks are next to each other, just an FYI. It only took him a while to answer that question, but at least he finally did.

In my son's letter yesterday, he said that last Friday was 4-1.?. I am not quit figuring it out because normally he has Sunday's as the 1st day, but being this is a push division they may be shortening the weeks to get everything in!?!

So, we will pray that they passed all the tests this week. They had their firing tests, gas chamber, & fire fightening this week I believe.

Sorry to hear about your son Momma :(  I'm sure he'll pass it soon!  I had a hard time talking to my kiddo today as there was lots of static. I don't know if it was my cell phone or the pay phone he was on.  I barely caught anything he said :(  But I believe he mentioned that on the 4th of July that they'll get a BBQ.  I sure hope so.  He also said that he thinks battlestations are next week. I'm not so sure...anyone else get information?

I heard next week as well

I hope that BS is next week, my son didn't mention it in his letter. I sure wouldn't want it to be the week of graduation. We will pray that it is next week!  I wish I would have received a call today : (
Susie-Sorry to hear you missed his call.
