Battlestations for Div. 934 will be Tues-Wed, July 5-6.  Yay!

Hmmmmm.
Just got a letter from my daughter, who is in Div. 934 -- their Battlestations is scheduled for Tues, Jul 5/Wed, July 6.  She said to expect a phone call on July 6, mid-afternoon!
Her letter was way more upbeat than previous ones.  She said they were going to be doing the gas chamber this last Monday, and firefighting yesterday.  Final PFA is today, final test and first performance on Friday.  It's getting down to the wire!
Thanks so much, MDF!  Had that date with a questionmark up above...but will remove the questionmark now.  Thanks again!
All have to say is thanks for posting this. I don't feel it violates security.  I am happy to know when my recruit tests. It explains why I haven't received any mail lately. They will be in my thoughts and prayers at that time.
luvmyboy:  We get the info from the SRs (who tell you all and then you post it).  I know that they normally have them starting with the lowest division numbers and going up, and they go through the same night as their brother division.  800 and 900 divisions go randomly.  So we are hoping that we have the schedule correct!  I have a questionmark beside 815 because it hasn't been confirmed....but the only other night they could go, I think, would be Tues/Wed instead.
They are performing on the 4th, so it seems unlikely they would keep them up the whole night before that, doesn't it?  Of course, they make the SR's do a lot of stuff that seems overwhelming!
Hmmmm....I would be very surprised at that, Z'sSweetie.  They pretty much never go through BattleStations the night before a Monday holiday because staff is taking time off, etc....especially for such a patriotic holiday.  Of course, never say never....but the sailors should be on "Sunday" schedule on Monday...which wouldn't include BattleStations, etc.
Man, I don't know about you, but I really do not like not being able to make some sort of firm plan -- it's the pits that I'm going to be flying all the way to Chicago and had made plans to stay for five days, only to find out that I probably won't get more than 10 or 12 hours with my daughter.  I guess the Navy probably has more important matters to deal with than my possible inconvenience, though!   LOL
I know.. we'll be halfway to Chicago on the 7th- my son is 226 also. I would like to get the call before we head out on WEdnesday.. but I guess we'll just have to see. I'm already a nervous wreck! What's another day? LOL
Don't think that will happen, ladies.  There are already 3 divisions going on Tues night and they can only take 4.  Unless there is a change on who goes on Tues night, thinking that 225/226 will go Wed/Thurs.  Since the I'm a Sailor calls will then come the day before PIR, it is more possible that some could come in the morning or early afternoon....but no guarantee.
