LOVE THE CLOCK  It is perfect  Fireteamleaderwife was going to work on one for us Wish Donna would come back to put it at the top I guess she is the only one who can.  I think you can move it to a discussion pg at the top so it easier to find.  Maybe Fire can help with that

Still no more letters...Thank you for sharing Terry.  Congrats to your son!  I am so interested to know what they are doing.  Was it my son that got them in trouble for the prank???  LOL  Elizabeth is out of town this week so I hope she has letters to see how he is and what he has been doing.  I hope his run time was better this time.

My son said the whole division seemed to have done better.  So improvement  Hopefully your SR got the time he needed.  Mine did but only by 2 seconds so still needs to improve so he doesn't fall short on the final.  I really got the impression that they are all getting it together.
I got a letter today. Umm they got in some trouble. He is doing well. He misses me. It was hard for me to read. He made a big decision idk if I was ready to hear it. He told me he misses my voice and he can hear my laugh but he can only see a mental blur of what I look like. I began to cry after that. I am proud of him but it is getting hard. He said he feels better. He said that they had started week 4 and he dated it on the 22nd so this week must be week 5 I would assume. I know I should not do that. I am ready to see him. I can not wait for graduation. Please keep them in your prayers. I am hoping everyone hears from their SR soon.
I received 2 letters today!  I got the questionnaire back...he loved it.  He said send more...they are easier than letters...lol  I also included a self addressed stamped envelope.  He said that he is top 3 in the division, he has passed all tests, he did not do well on the run the first time but had 15 seconds to spare this time.  They are now able to write on Tue and Thu for 25 minutes during the day.  I asked what he would like to do after PIR, he said eat, sleep and chill.  He is iron PO and Honor Guard.  They send and receive mail M-F.  Wants more pictures and more mail!

Tina, great news from your SR.  Sent my son questionnaire on Monday.  Hope he returns it write away.

I sent him one of all of us including his daughter. I just hate this. I am glad we do not have that much more to go. I am so proud of all of our boys. They are doing great. I am ready to see him. He made me laugh and said don't worry baby I know you will cry so wear water proof mascara and just brace yourself I am ready for him to laugh. I know it is hard. I hope they shape up so they can make calls.

I received another letter too. He is so ready to see us, he sounds good. He answered my question finally if he is making friends. He says he is and come to find out they are "computer nerds"like him, he said. I was so relieved to hear  that. I am so thankful we have each other on here. I do not know how I would have made it without all of you!

Thanks,

Kathleen

That is fantastic Kathleen. I know my SR is a huge computer geek well gamer. I guess that is different.
No I think they go hand in hand, at least with my son. I wonder if the division are allowed to interact? My son is 234.
I wonder. I know that Trav loves video games so everytime I pass the gamestop  he worked or a game stop I cry.
Has anyone asked who their Sailor's bunkmate is?  I asked, I have the answer but how can we pair up the mom, gf or fiance?  Just wondering.
