Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

They could be looking for anything in the records. Is there a chance he didn't list something on his paper work BEFORE going to bootcamp? Example if he ever took ADD or ADHD meds and the recruiter told him to leave that off....
If there was something missing off his paper work, that means he lied on his paper work and will be sent to Ship 5 to seperate. IF they are seperating him, he will get a chance to call someone and let them know. Once he ends up in Ship 5, it is up to him if he wants to fight a seperation or not.
I don't know much about this although a close family friend has a son (19) who has this disorder. In his case, I believe he has more severe disabilities than perhaps just Anxiety Disorder. I have a N4M friend who is the creator of a group - Navy Moms Rock, Vickyrun - she suffers from this disorder. You might want to contact Vickyrun, send her a friend request. Or join her Navy Moms Rock group first and post a note that you would like to speak with her about this. She is a lovely person and will be happy to be of help.
I was the mom who send you a friend request because I have a younger son in North Dakota. I was looking for moms in ND and SD who would be willing to be contacted for information and possibly help if an emergency came up since we are in CA. He is working out in the oil fields. Work in ND is plentiful, particularly for guys with any mechanical skills. Tell your son not to let this discourage him from finding his own path. Other doors will open. This is not a reflection on him. My husband thinks often, big organizations label people one thing or another when in fact it may not be true. You might go back to your GP and ask to consult with a psychologist who specializes in this. Perhaps, your son was just not ready to be in the military, away from home and simply didn't adapt fast enough. Give him time to figure out what he wants to do. Remind that people develop at different rate. He should not compare himself with others.
