I thought it would be good to start a sub group for our Div. Since our recruits probably know each other!

Yeah, Great idea!  Thanks!!
I'm driving from TX and plan to stay at the Ramada.  Has anyone else started plans?
We are flying from Houston. Staying at the Residence Inn in Waukegan. We needed a lg room since we are traveling with my 16 yr old son and my SR's gf. I'm hoping to attend the Meet n' Greet at the Ramada! :)
My daughter left the same time as yours but I haven't received a letter yet.  I'm with you!  I miss my daughter so so so much!

Hi - our son is in Ship-10 Div-265 also.  I would love to stay in contact with other families.  We will be traveling from WA state to GL for PIR.  Very excited to experience this and see our son.  We are anxiously awaiting that first phone call that lasts longer than 30 seconds! :)

Hi Kim,

We are traveling from WA as well! Where abouts are you?

Kathy

Hi Kathy - We will be flying out of Portland.  We live in Vancouver.  My son's name is Brendan and he is our youngest son - we have 2 more sons both who decided to go the college route vs military.  I knew from the time he was just a little guy that he would go this route.  He is an HM.

Hi Kim. Our son is Anthony, he is my oldest and only son. He is 21, graduated Job Corp, High School, took some college, but decided to follow in grandpa and great grandpa's footsteps. We will fly out of SeaTac. We are in the Bremerton area.  Anthony is, so far, undesignated PacSeaman...so he is in store for an adventure! :)

Hi Kathy - We used to live in Bremerton when my husband was stationed there years ago.  We still have friends there.  It is a beautiful location and had we not been from Vancouver we would probably have landed there when my husband got out of the Navy in 1990.
We are staying at the Ramada Inn.  I booked it yesterday.  I can't wait!!
My son's name is Alex. We are still waiting for his first personal letter and first real call. I would love to know the families of the kiddos he's there with.
I checked out the Ramada and it looks nice - I believe that's where we will land as well.
