Hi Barbara welcome happy to meet another Mom from a SR in our Div. please keep in touch with us here and be sure to keep us updated with any information about the div and your SR. Are you planing to attend the meet and greet for PIR 08/05/2011. I hope so I would love to meet as many loved ones of our SR's as possible.
Hi my name is Damaris I have been trying for a long time to conect with this group my son is also on the same ship
Does anyone know when they will get their next phone call home? I was out of the country and missed my son's 3 week call. I don't need to tell you how I feel about that. It has been a long 4.5 weeks. I just keep praying to hear from him.
Welcome Damaris happy to have you with us I hope you are planning to attend the meet and greet for the PIR 08/05/2011
Marcie I understand what you mean i did get to talk to my SR for 8 min. it was not enough though. I feel the four and half weeks as such a long time but they have been gone longer than we have to wail to see them. again. Guess you can see I think alot about this.
As I understand the 3 wk call and the "I am a sailor" call is the only calls they usually get. If they get more it is a privilege. . It is very hard for me to say that as I always have my phone with me and am hoping he will call. Even find my self wanting him to do really well in something to get to make a phone call.
But I hope you will find us as a help to get though this time in our lives as I know our SR's are helping each other. Dont forget to post any information you receive about the Div and your SR we want to know.
I thank all of you for posting what you can about what your SR's are letting you know it is a great to hear about them and the div.
Sistersue- happy you got the information of what is going to happen to your son after BC I hope we all can hear soon. What happens next.
I don't know if any of you are aware but on Tuesday they have a Trivia Tuesday and the one that answers correctly and first gets there div's picture put on face book.
