Yes, I'm definitely interested. I would need to know a date ASAP in order to arrange to be off if I'm not already off, but that shouldn't be too much of a pb unless someone is on vacation that week. I didn't even know pamphlets exist; that's great that they pass those out in recruiting offices!

He said as soon as I have 10 moms to call him back and we will set a date.  So I thought to get a move on it I'd get it on here.  I know a Navy mom or two at my church so I'm going to see if I can muster them together.  haha.  Do you know anyone else?

At least we have two, now we need 8 more.  Anyone else out there in Cincinnati?  They don't come every year to our city so this is a uniquie opportunity.

ChrisyDVM, as soon as we have 8 more of us I'll call him.  I'm wanting to do it either the 30, 31 or Sept 1 or 2.  I leave the evening of the 2nd to go out of town so it will hopefully be one of these days. Navy week starts the 29th so I figured it wouldn't end up being on the first day but I won't be setting the date but aiming for one of these four days.

Ok, sounds good. Where are you from. There is a mom on here from Ross and another from Milford, I believe. I can check with the Blue Star Mothers group in Dayton to see if any of them are moms of sailors.

I would be interested also, so count me in. Let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Lisa

Lisa, I have you down but I need a few things now to turn in to the Admiral.   Did you get my private message?  I need Your name, where you are from, your son or daughters, name, rank and duty station.  Also any question you have for the Admiral that you'd like to submit ahead of time so he can get the most up to date info for us.
I'm off Aug 30 and Sept 2, but I could probably trade to get either the 29th or 1st off so whatever works best for everyone else, I can try and work with it.
I would be interested in meeting for breakfast. Just let me know the details!
Hi, Chelsey's Mom.  The details are now firm and listed above.  Did you get my private message?  I need you to send me your name, where you are from and the name of your son or daughter and their name, rank and duty station to submit to the Admiral.  They wanted this handed in when I get them.  So send me a private message.  Thanks.
Yes I am interested

Michelle, Just wanted to see if you received my message about the info I need now that this is firm.  Let me know your name, where you are from, and your son or daughters name, rank and duty station and any question you might have for the Admiral.

We have a tentative date now of Thursday Sept 1 in the morning downtown Cincinnati.  Now I need definite RSVP's to make it firm and then I will get a time a place.  Obviously in the morning since it's breakfast.  If you want me to email you details also as a reminder later then you can private message me with your email address too so that we can keep all updates coming to you.  I will keep posting updates on here also the day I get  them.  So I'm ready for hearing all the firm yes's.
So, Michelle (Ship 12div154), Sherry (Chelsey's mom) & ChrisDVM (Chris's mom) and Lisa are all four of you a definite now that we have it nailed to Thursday Sept 1?
