While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

It's hard to accept
First, I would like to say "hello" to my newfound family! My sailor has been gone for 3 weeks, and I think I may have cried at least 1 1/2 weeks out of that time. I know it sounds pitiful; but this is the first time that I have been away from her! I cant call, text or get to her like usual!! Please tell me how u moms get through these times? I know to think about the positive and fun times, I do and that's what gets me...missing her smile and laugh!!! Help me..Lost mom!!

Yeah, how cool that your daughter was also a 900er! Greg is in Pensacola. Yeah, I think Navy life is just going to be all around demanding?? Is this her first time away from home?
The 100th was awesome (though I have nothing else to compare it too). It was outside...I think it was near 3000-4000 people there. My son said they were expecting 7000, but it didn't look like it. Nearly 800 graduates plus the families and all the vips...maybe -

You are not alone! My daughter left on 6/29 and I too have felt lost without her. We both need to tell ourselves our daughters are doing what they set out to do and we prepared them the best we could for that. We need to stay busy so if we can help each other get through this difficult time I am all for it. Take care

I miss Hayley so much too! Our house is so quiet. After this then she goes to Florida. I just hope our girls are not grad n' go. We are making plans to go to the graduation..so just hope we have more that a couple of hours together. Are you going to graduation?

I just found out that my daughter is grad and go; does that mean that she does not get to spend the day with us? Or will she be leaving out Monday to go to A-school in Pensacola? I dont think that I'm gonna be ready for that one, for her to leave soo soon!!

My son leaves tomorrow morning and we too have never been apart. I miss him already and feel like saying, "dont go" ! He was suffering from fear and sadness a few days ago but I thought it was funny how the closer it got the better he felt. I can hardly hold back the tears. I want to write a nice letter to hand him when I drop him off in the morning but I just cant find the words. I want to say something that will make it easier on him and let him know how proud I am but I am stuck in sadness and I know that is not what I want send him off with.
