Submarine moms are special:

--- All of us have boys, "SAILORS!"

 --- Who serve on "boats,"

 --- With whereabouts unknown, and

--- We only get sporadic, short emails while they're out!

Tell us where your sailor serves...

Yes, I did see the video...I actually ended up finding 4 of them on YouTube, downloaded them, and marked the times I saw him .... even for just a few seconds! When I was finally able to talk to him he was impressed that I found them before he even knew where they were! Sometimes it is fun to be a step ahead of him LOL!!
Thanks for asking!!
My son, Jeff, serves on the USS Jimmy Carter in Bangor, WA.
My son, Lucas, is an SK on the USS Montpelier in Norfolk, VA. They just left about a month ago for a 6 month underway to the Persian Gulf.
please excuse me but I don't think the information you gave out is allowed... don't mean to be nosey... but you gave name of sub and destination and time frame...
thanks
My son is just going to the Jackson, he has been in the Navy for 11 years , he is a Chief NAV/ET . He just came back form deployment and we got to send and receive emails from him, what a treat his first Submarine the Parche could not do this.Gaileann
My son is now on the USS Chicago stationed in Pearl Harbor, previously on the USS Minneapolis St. Paul which was decommissioned.
My son, Chris is on the USS Santa FE fast attack submarine stationed in Hawaii. He currently on deployment somewhere.
Hey Lisa,

My son is also on the USS Santa FE . This is hard for me not able to talk to him. I miss him so much . This is his first deployment .

We have ALL been where you are now, Sheila.  Many tears have been cried into many pillows while wishing we could talk to those Sailors of ours!  Take some small comfort in knowing that your son is being kept so busy that he doesn't have time to be homesick... and he'll drop like a dead man into his bunk.  I know that sounds strange, but it helped me through "first cruise."  Just keep emailing him as much as you can, because your emails are probably the only bright spot in his day.  Stay upbeat, positive, and encouraging... he's got a Chief and lots of mates who are telling him everything he's doing wrong right now!  Shower him with strokes and love... that's what he needs most.  Very soon, first cruise will be over and you'll be so proud of him!  Hugs, k.

Thank you !!!!
