I've made the reservations for the Ramada and booked the flights. Just trying to figure out a car rental.  I hope they were able to get some letters out this week, it would be GREAT to see how things are going.

Idslees, you might want to check with FedEx if they have a package for you in *holding*.  My husband was home and had to sign for it otherwise it wouldn't have been left they said.

I will check with FedEx tomorrow for sure!  We made our reservations at Ramada too!!  Can't wait!

Good morning 11/278!  If you haven't done so yet, here is something AWESOME for us to do!  If you LIKE Recruit Training Command on facebook, you can play Tuesday Trivia!  The winner of Tuesday Trivia will have a picture of their loved ones training group posted on facebook!

The answer to the trivia question is somewhere on the http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/index.asp site!  It's at 10am CST SHARP!  (In 21 minutes)

If you want to participate and have questions, holler at me!

Just got first letter today!!!! He said his address was wrong. My son is in SHIP 3 DIV 278.... Guess I'm in the wrong group. :(

They moved the division to Ship 3 - this is the right group.

Dana that is wonderful you got a letter!!!

Sharon, does this mean ALL Ship 11 people are now Ship 3?

Sharon and Dana - What address do you have for your SR in 3/278?  Is it this one?

SR ____________

Ship 3/Div 278

Recruit Training Command

3600 Ohio St

Great Lakes, IL 60088-3156

Sara

Shoot, does this mean all the letters I've sent won't get to him??
I'm certain that as long as their name is listed, the letters WILL find them!  The address I posted above is the one that he listed as his return address on the letter I got yesterday.  It isn't the same as the one on the form letter.  I don't want anything I send to take any additional time, either!  I haven't mailed my daily letter because I'm not sure who can confirm/deny that I have the correct address!  :O
I've got 2 letters I was going to mail today, I'll hold off until I find out. Dang it! I don't want a delay either.  Hopefully someone can confirm this ASAP and I get a letter from my son today!

The Facebook RTC folks said as long as the Division number is correct, they will receive their mail.  The address above for Ship 3 is correct - so I'd guess future mail should be addressed to:

SR Last Name, First Name
Ship 3, Div ______
Recruit Training Command
3600 Ohio Street
Great Lakes, IL  60088-3156

THANK YOU, Sharon!  :)
