Nope :( Hoping this Sunday or SRs are allowed to write!

So I went to the mail box today thinking  This is the day !!!!    no letter.  arghhhhhh.   It is so hard waiting  but as they say no news is good news. Leann  how wonderful that you got a reward call it must have been great to hear your sons voice.

Yes, it was great to hear his voice.  Like all of you - ready for that first letter.  Saw on the RTC site that someone from the same ship had spoke with their SR and he had said he was receiving letters.  Nice to know that, hopefully, my SR is getting mail.  Fingers crossed for that letter!

Turns out I havent received anything yet because my husband never put my APT number on the address :( Did get my DEERS packet somehow without them knowing my APT#... Gonna try and straighten this mess out this week. And get my military ID too!
Has anyone heard from your sailor? I've not gotten any calls nor any letters....I know that means she's good but I'd love to actually hear it from her voice!

No letter, either.  Checking everyday.  I agree - no news, good news but. . .just an update would be nice :)

We got letters no calls

Iwish I could have gotten an update through my SR, because he called me on Sunday(7/17) just to tell me he messed up the receivers address(mine) and that his box and form letter were being returned to him. It was a very quick call and I couldnt even ask how he was doing, but, he did tell me he loved me.. Also, at that point in time he didnt have any of my letters yet, but I'm guessing he asked me why he hadnt received any of my letters because they had been getting mail call, and I assume thats daily. So for those of you who have been sending letters before me(I didnt get his address until exactly a week ago, when I sent my first letter) your SRs should have received them.

Good Luck to all of you! Were getting close to connecting with our SRs again!

Anyone gotten calls in our ship/div?

Nothing yet, either :(

I got a call for info over a week ago and we talked for about 10 min ( maybe that was it) but nothing since!  I check the mailbox everyday hoping and I carry my cell around like a lifeline!  Fingers crossed!
I just wanted to share... Finally got my letters! All 9 pages, he writes me looks like every night he can. He says the first week, " was HELL not because its hard, because its not, but because I miss yall SOO MUCH". But sounds like things started to get better after that.
