My boyfriend is currently in Goose Creek, and Im in the process of booking my flights and hotel to visit him for the weekend in a little over a month. When I went to his graduation sadly, we found out shortly before we left that he was Grad n go and we would only have a few hours with him, so I really want to make that weekend really special... BUT, Im not really good with all of that. Does anyone have any ideas? anything and everything would help so much!

Thanks everyone!

That's no good:/ I hope you're able to get down there very soon.!
me too! Its weird, I thought bootcamp was hard but I almost think this is harder because I know I could see him and that he does have free time. ahhh. haha. now I just have to wait till around christmas time!!!
That's about when i'll be going down there most likely. I'd offer to just road trip with you, but my bf is still in boot, school is starting up soon and all of that jazz:/

I looked at a bunch of flights and hotels around there because I was looking to go out there in a few weeks but now it looks like I will be heading out in the spring some time.

If youre looking to stay closer to the base, look for hotels in Goose Creek (obviously the base is there) lol

If you want to stay closer to the city I would suggest N. Charleston, My boyfriend said it is still close enough to the base if he has to go back for some reason but still close enough to the city to be able to sight see and have fun.

If he doesnt have a car out there also keep in mind that you will have to take a cab everywhere and that can really add up, and the closer to downtown Charleston you look at staying, the more expensive it will be.

I dont know if that is any help for you but I hope so! I know that traveling is expensive and that was a lot of what I was paying attention to.

welcome! good luck, and have a blast!!
Hii! My boyfriend is going to goose creek right after boot camp too! but i hear that its pretty close to Charleston so why don't you guys go up there and sight see and go somewhere to eat or walk on the beach together or go somewhere nice where you guys can just be together and talk or just to hang out:) I think thats what i'm going to do when he goes down there. Although his best friend is going to come with me so it won't be as romantic haha
I refuse to let my bf's best friend come with me, he's not been very nice! Your bf is a nuke as well i'm assuming johnsgirl? glad to have you here!!!
Haha yup he will be studying that when he gets to A school! And my bf's best friend is a good guy for the most part...lol we're both kind of helping each other through John being gone and everything. Why isn't your bf's best friend being very nice to you?! He should be nice to you because your dating his best friend!
He's a jealous asshole. He tried to get G to spend less time with me, and ditch me, and kick me out to hangout with him. & claimed he needed "guy time" multiple times. & I finally got sick of it and told him to stop being my boyfriends boyfriend, because there isn't room for 2 Sig. Others, i'm the ONLY one. & G agreed and told him he needed to not be so clingy, because he was acting like more of a girl about it than i was up until the last day. but even then, i still held it together, and took others into consideration and didnt try to "steal him away". It's in the main feed, the whole story behind it, just go a page or two back.

I so understand! before I started dating my boyfriend I met all of his friends and they are SO close that they all pretty much live together. It's great that they have such a strong friendship but before he left there were a few days were I was like, I know theyre going to miss you too but I live in Boston and can only see you on the weekends, and they see you during the week, give me ONE day, PLEASE!! lol and he was like, woah, I didnt realize I was doing that. But hey guess we just have popular boyfriends (: lol

question though, are any of you ladies thinking of moving out to be with them when they are done with bootcamp? My boyfriend and I are talking about me moving out there when I graduate about 10 months from now.

I am 99% likely moving with him once I graduate highschool, in may if we're still going strong.

:)

by then he will be required to live on his own, and we will be eligable to get an apartment:)

Is he a nuke? I can't remember if you had said. If so youll be in SC with me (: haha
