FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I've seen the lanyards custom for each PIR I want to get those for our group too, idk if it's something we order or we need someone to take charge & make it happen, I'm willing to do that if necessary we have a print co that we use for our maaco business & they can do them but min is 25,,, & price goes down if more want them also I'll make the name tags for anyone interested...but I do not want to step on anyone's toes....anyone that knows please let me know...

hello everyone - this morning i sent out a email from navymom@wavecable.com with an excel attachment for everyone that has indicated they wanted the lanyards - if you didnt get the email PLEASE e-mail me at navymom@wavecable.com so i can get you added - and i will need to stop orders soon so  i can make sure everyone get the lanyard for the Meet & Greet!  I did get confirmation that the first order is on its way to my house!

66 lanyards went out yesterday!

I sent emails with tracking #s to those that I had gotten payment from! Many of you have sent me your info but I have not gotten payment....I don't want anyone to miss out but I am not ordering more either & they take 10 days to get here... We only have 21 more days till meet & greet! & than we get to see or sr!

I'm so excited I hope all continues to go good from all our SRs & the families too! Looking forward to meeting so many of you!

Our lanyards/badges arrived today. You rock!! They look amazing...his brothers were super excited. I will mail his gf to her and surprise her. She had a book made for him as a grad present. I've never seen anything like it. There is a reason she loves him for every day they were apart...absolutely precious. Anyway, you are awesome Heather, thanks again.
