For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Has anyone gotten married in Panama City, FL???
I have a few questions!
Since neither my sailor or I are FL residents there is no waiting period from the time you get your marrige lisences till you can get married. But I was just wondering if you have heard of anyone staying a little later to help accomadate a sailors schdule??? The Bay County Courthouse closes at 4:30 PM (LAMEEE) and I know we could make it there by at earliest 4:30....So I was wondering if anyone has heard of them staying a little later if I were to call a few weeks ahead to make an appointment?!
My sailor is still in A school so he has to put in a chit. So I have about a month to figure all this stuff out! Any advice or information would be greatly apperciated! THANKS A MILLION!

SailorsPrincess...I am not sure about how school works in Panama, but I know in Pensacola on Fridays a lot of times they get out early like 12 or 1. So maybe that will be your case :) I am excited for you!

Thanks April! I am hoping that is the case! They have been having class from 5:30 AM to 8 PM the last two weeks since dive school just started, But he did say that they should start really lightening up. And all I can say is I sure hope so! Sunday is there last day of night study so then his day will be from 5:30 AM till like 4 PM but hopefully earlier! I need to try and find other divers loved ones and see what kind of information I can get I think!
