For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I missed my call once again. But his sister talked to him and HE IS A SAILOR!!!!!
SR Harris is now a sailor! So proud of him, cried through his whole call. He said the last haul was long and he was tired but had to call home first. Hey, would one of you post pictures of PIR for me, laid up and won't be able to make it no matter how much I begged the doctor. I didn't know if this day would ever come and can't wait till next friday gets here and boot camp is behind them. Thanks to all of you for the encouraging words that helped me through bootcamp.
Congrats to all 11/244 SAILORS ! You made it ! We couldn't be PROUDER and HAPPIER for you!

Well I just wanted to connect with you and tell you thanks for all the posting that was done on this discussion so far it has let me know that our Sailors were in good company and that I wasn't alone on this journey Feel like I have made some great connections hope to meet you all.I feel so grateful that our Sailors are done and that they are getting ready for the next part of their journey. Less that 5 days to see our Sailors. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sistersue I was sad to hear that you won't be able to attend the graduation. Glad to hear that your son will be stationed close enough for you to visit or for him to visit.
