I thought I'd start this discussion so others with SR's in the same div could get to know eachother a little better. Also will be handy if anyone has info directly relating to our div we can share here.

Thank you for posting this. Apparently SRs give more details to their spouses than to their moms! :-) This helps me fill in the details. ** From Alec's mom.

Thank you for the info really appreciate you letting me know.  I guess it's all good since today is Sunday.  Hmmm almost there.

thank you for this information. My SR said it was Hell Week but no details.

No problem :) My husband had to spend a couple days SIQ so he had more time to write
My fiance is in division 273 as well and will be in great lakes after BC and then near San diego for his next training i believe. I have gotten letters the past few wednesdays (i think they get to mail stuff letters every monday) and he told me they get mail every day, then said that now they get it three times a week. Cant wait for graduation in three weeks! He is a division leader too and told me about the IT. Hope hell week is going by fast for them.
They should receive mail every day, but are allowed time to write three days per week (Sunday during "holiday" hours, Tuesday evening and Thursday evening).

Hello all, we are getting closer, yeah! I got a 3 minute call from my SR yesterday, official Navy business so we didn't get to talk. I was asking Questions the whole time I was looking up info but he was not chatty. Found that I had more questions when he hung up than before. Got two letters today, short and sweet. He says things are good though.

Hi Donna. This is Heidi, Alec's mom. First, of course you may join us! :-) With regard to names on the list, this is all brand new to me so I totally defer to anyone with experience. But, my understanding from everything I have read is that the list is positively it. There might be a way for your SR to alter his list (not sure about that), but I would certainly not count on anyone not on the list gaining admission that day.
Your SR can change his list up to a few days before PIR.  So, write right away and let him know who to add.
Got a short letter today in which he said Hell Week was starting the next day but he didn't date it. Up at 4am everyday and and inspection of some sort everyday.  He said things are starting to get very stressful, although everything is good. He did Marlinespike last Friday. No call yet and no mention of calls in his letter.  Three weeks from today Graduation will be over and they will all be getting ready for their next journey. We all love and miss our boys and girls....how fast they grew up...seems like yesterday..........................................

Got a phone call today did everyone else?  Those who are taking photo's for me please get a good photo of their division flag with all those other flags on the top of it.  It is my understand they have many.

Thanks,

Debera

I got a call yesterday as well and it was so nice! I didnt think they would get one until the "i'm a sailor call."  I wasnt sure why, but that makes sense that their division got rewarded. Thanks for the info on BS. Today's mail day i believe! :)
