This discussion is for those who have an SR in Ship 04, DIV 820 and 821, PIR 10/14/11. These are brother divisions and will be spending a lot of time together from what I understand. Remember OPSEC rules and for security purposes...no pictures of your SR or names of SR. God bless you all!

Hi Anne... I think when you enter this specific group, it loads entries from day 1 first...so you have to go to the last page to see the latest posts... does that help?
Anne...also, it might be telling you about the other 10/14/11 PIR group as well. I get both posts coming to my email. On the original, the newest posts are first and on this one they are last. Not sure why they are different, though. Also, some are replying to older posts on this discussion, and they are mixed in, so are harder to find. If you figure it out, let me know, too!
Hope everyone is having a good day! Just wanted to let you know that there is a contest on RTC Facebook page every Monday and Tuesday and the winner gets their division picture posted on Facebook. It would be nice to get our division's picture posted so if you missed this week, please go their next Monday and Tuesday to participate. Some of you may already know this, but this is for those who don't! Also, there is a discussion group just for this division on there, once your on the main page, click on discussion at the left and it will be one of those listed. Just another way for us to support each other.
Just the box and form letter from my SR, so far. We have our hotel arrangements as well, and we booked it, checking out Monday morning, in hopes that at least we will be able to see him on Sunday. I am not sure how much time they will have off, but hopefully, at least some! We will probably drive, so that takes care of air and car rentals.
Welcome to the group. Make sure you review the OPSEC rules. They don't want pictures of the SRs going into special ops or names of them for security purposes. Also, if any of you on here have pictures on your profiles of your SR, I would suggest making your profile setting so that only friends can see them. Again, it's all in the name of safety for our boys.
I am so excited to meet you all! My son is in 820 as well!
I know!!! I'm seeing the same thing from several! Hoping when i get home that i have a letter too!!! My SR is in 820 also. Hope we both have a gift in the mailbox today!! :o)
Hi everyone! We got our first letter today. He said he only had time for one letter. It was so good to hear from him, some funny stuff, too. He said he hopes they get to call home in he next couple of weeks, but he said the division needs to work together and it's earned, so lets keep encouraging our SRs to work together as a team and to do their best, so we an get that phone call!! It probably will depend on where you live as to when you get your letters, too. My SR is in 820. Remember to add days if you are further from Great Lakes, it may be tomorrow or Fri. if you are on the different coasts! I think they only have "free" time on Sundays. Hang in there all.
