This discussion is for those who have an SR in Ship 04, DIV 820 and 821, PIR 10/14/11. These are brother divisions and will be spending a lot of time together from what I understand. Remember OPSEC rules and for security purposes...no pictures of your SR or names of SR. God bless you all!

Hi my SR is also in 821 on Ship 04... This is so new to me and at times I am not sure I will make the next 5 weeks... but this website and all your posts have been helpful. Anxiously awaiting the call or a real letter or some contact. Looking forward to seeing many of you in October. We are lucky to just be about 3 hours north of RTC.
Hi navymom...welcome aboard! :) Hopefully we will all get letters this week AND calls. Wouldn't that be awesome?
Agreed! :) We are staying at the Residence Inn in Waukeegan. I don't know if we will be there in time for the meet and greet, but I am hoping I get to meet some of you there or at PIR.
If anyone is interested in ordering t-shirts for graduation, i'm posting a link from where we ordered ours from. I would love to see a sea of these at PIR! :o)

No letter today. :( Not sure what I will do when i actually get a letter! . I cry less than I used to but it is still so hard to have anyone ask "How are you doing?" or "How is he doing?" and not start crying. I just say fine and then try to walk away without seeming too rude. I want a shirt that says
"We are all fine- I just cant talk about it yet- thanks for understanding"
Good news though we are another day closer to seeing our boys! :)
You're not alone...believe me...we are all in the same boat I think...for me, I finally stopped my "crying spells" everyday, now its just few tears here and there. This totally caught me off guard, I didn't expect it to be this hard and that I would miss him sooo much. I finally got my first letter yesterday so you will get yours, I was expecting mine last week Wed-Thurs but it took a little longer than expected. That is an awesome idea about the shirt, I needed one of those so many times. Hang in there navmom, we'll all get through this!
