That is awesome!!!! My son's gf just called me and she received a phone call too!! She said he sounds different. Older more mature. Haha. But every thing is good and he can't wait for graduation.
Awesome, my son sounds a tad homesick, and he also cannot wait for graduation! It is the 14th, but we cannot acess the site until October 1st for the codes to get in.

Ladies, less than a month to PIR.  It was wonderful talking to my SR.  He sounded in good spirits, but sounded as if he had a cold.  Looking forward to meeting you all.

Same here, my SR sounded like he had a cold also! Yes PIR cannot come quick enough! Look forward to meeting all of u also!
My brother called his gf and she said he was doing well, just sounded tired. Apparently he was in the pic on facebook. He told us where he was standing, but we still can't find him. Haha. I don't think I'll be at the meet and greet, but hope to see you all at PIR.

Hi Ladies... My SR is in this group too!!!  Im new at this and not sure of the abbreviations... how do you find out what your sons rank/rate is? What is MA or MAA?

MAA stands for Master At Arms. My SR will be going to San Antonio for A-school for training for MAA. Welcome to the group.
Ohh ok, congrats... My SR is going to Groton, Ct.. for his A-school.  I have no idea if he has a title like that... he is in the submarine program.. I have to ask him.. i see a lot of abbreviations, and i have no clue what they mean (yet).  Thank you and good luck to you and your son... see you in Oct!
