Maybe next week!

Where is everyone ??? I haven't seen any comments on here lately. Not long to go now, I'm getting excited and looking at flight schedules/prices etc.

I missed the Trivia Tuesday contest today, and I've just got a part time job that I start tomorrow, so I'll miss the Wacky Wednesday's too.  I really hope someone can win so we get a picture of our SR's !!!!

Good luck ladies :-)

I was thinking the same thing.  We had a busy weekend, and I meant to stop in!  Hope everyone is doing well.  I wish I could post a picture of the hat my 7 y.o. made for his schools' Constitution Day Hat Parade!!  We got stickers from my SR's recruiter and put them on the hat.  My 7 y.o. also colored pictures of some carriers to put on his hat.  If anyone knows how/if I can post it, I'll be glad to!  4 weeks (I think) and counting, ladies!!  :-)
Hi, MandySue, it's 3 weeks this Friday, so that should make you happy !!!....not sure about the pictures, maybe you could ask one of the Veterans moms on here. Can't see any harm though :)
I'll check that out!  Thanks!
Can we put our online names as well as our real names on our name tags at the meet 'n greet on Thursday before graduation so we can recognize each other?

Hi Briansmom, Yes that makes sense, as I read somewhere that people have put there real names on the tags and then know one whos who..Lol.

Not sure if we'll make it to the Meet & Greet, it depends on what flight we book, it's either gonna arrive at 4.35pm or 11.54pm. I know which one I want though... getting to the airport that late would be crazy.

Looking forward to seeing my son, and in his uniform, my husband is retired Airforce, so it'll be a nice change.

I was thinking the same thing this morning. Everyone just disappeared, must have been a busy weekend. I too am getting very excited to my SR.

Yep, I've been peeking in but haven't had much new to ask or say. 3 weeks! Our flight in is pretty late on Thursday. I expect we'll get to the hotel around 10.

Battle stations 21 has to be coming up soon, right? Has anyone heard from their SR about this?

I've been checking out the Nuke School group on this site, pretty active. So much to learn about!

jacksoj5  where are you checking the Nuke school stuff at? My SR is going to Nuke school & I would love to read & see what is going on. thank you so much for our help & information.

Nuke Moms is the name of the group, here's a link to one of the comments just to get you to the screen where you can ask to join. I haven't been posting comments there, but I've been reading a lot!

PIR is getting closer and closer for this PIR group. I still can't believe September is almost over, Here is just a heads up, I am working on the ribbons for your group to wear to PIR, I have several that I haven't received the payment for so if you ordered and forgot to send your payment please remember to do that :-) I will begin mailing the ribbons for this PIR group very soon. If you have any questions at all send me a message or a friend request and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks so much!!! I hope you all get some awesome letters and fantastic phone calls this week.  If you haven't seen the Encouraging questionnaire I posted in the discussion be sure and check it out. This is a really good time to send it. It is funny and has a really encouraging paragraph in it about battle stations. You can even send a couple extras for them to share with their friends and they can fill it out and send it to their family. You guys are awesome, Thanks again, Lala
