Good News Moms of Ship 03 Division 347:

I received a 5 min phone call today from my son.  He was upbeat and had a lot to say in 5 min.  He talked about test scores, inspection scores, the food (says its pretty good), and wisdom teeth.  I received the call around 4:00 California time.  It was so good to hear his voice.  I did not detect any signs of stress or home sickness.  Thank God.  I did have a brief scare.  He said he was scheduled to have his wisdoms pulled today.  He remembers them putting t he IV in his arm and the next thing he awoke with medical staff around him in the hospital.  He said they told him he had a heart condition.  He said after further testing he did not have a heart condition and he was fine.  They are rescheduling his wisdom pulling.  My heart sank hearing this.  I am thankful he is fine, but I would like to know what happen. He said they were suppose to get an hour phone call, but someone got in trouble.  He has been getting my letters and said he wrote me on Sunday.  Today is Thursday and no letter yet.  Maybe by tomorrow or Saturday.  So keep writing.  They are receiving our letters.

Yes we also got a phone call tonight, and a letter in the mail today.  He sounds very tired, not getting his beauty sleep - and counting the days to graduation!  It was so good to hear his voice!!

Got two letters today.  I kept telling myself all I needed was to hear from him.  Well I got a call and two letters and I'm crying almost as much as I did when he left.

Is your SR ok? Were they happy tears or sad tears? :-(
He is doing great.  They were happy tears. I'm a cry baby...so I've been told :0)
I know exactly what you mean - I couldn't go to sleep the night he called- crying like a baby.  Four weeks can't come soon enough till we see them again!!
I thought hearing from him would bring comfort.  It did for a moment and then I began to feel the same way I felt when he left.  I received another letter on Saturday.  I carry his letter in my purse so that I can read them at will.  It helps.....I think......
Hey Everyone - if anyone can play wacky wednesday tomorrow - let's win this! Would love a picture of our SR's!
PIR is getting closer and closer for this PIR group. I still can't believe September is almost over, Here is just a heads up, I am working on the ribbons for your group to wear to PIR, I have several that I haven't received the payment for so if you ordered and forgot to send your payment please remember to do that :-) I will begin mailing the ribbons for this PIR group very soon. If you have any questions at all send me a message or a friend request and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks so much!!! I hope you all get some awesome letters and fantastic phone calls this week.  If you haven't seen the Encouraging questionnaire I posted in the discussion be sure and check it out. This is a really good time to send it. It is funny and has a really encouraging paragraph in it about battle stations. You can even send a couple extras for them to share with their friends and they can fill it out and send it to their family. You guys are awesome, Thanks again, Lala
Hi all!!! I have a question... My son mentioned a new friend of his last name. I was wondering if I can post the last name here and see who he belongs to... Just anxious to be connected to that family since my son has befriended their son...
Maybe do first letter and then those of us that qualify can send you a private message?
ok... good idea.... first letter is P
