Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My son is also in this group. Starting to make travel plans. Can't wait to see him, we have never been apart for this long. Got our first letter today and he is doing great! He was supposed to PIR a week earlier but was delayed due to overcrowding. He also he had to get those big BC Glasses. He has never had glasses and he hates it. So happy to hear from my sailor in the making.

I Just got my 3rd letter today my SR she said they were having their 1st academic test on Monday which would have been the 26th and she said if she did good she would be getting a 15 to 20 minute phone call home i haven't heard anything have either of you gotten a phone call yet?

Our DIL got a letter that they were going to get to call 27th and then a letter saying they didn't get it. All part of the breaking down process.... but Yeah! I see you got one today!!!!! I hope the rest of the Div gets them too. Was it great? Did you get to talk long?

yes Bandito's Mom it was great to hear from her. she is on Crutches for some reason after their 1.5 mile run she was in a lot of pain they did do X rays but nothing showed so tomorrow she will go to the hospital to have a bone scan they think she may have small fracture in her chin she may still be able to graduate on time though. She sounded Great and still says the food is good she said they were suppose to get the phone call 2 weeks ago but they Kept messing up so guess that is why they didn't get it. we talked for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Finally got 2 questionaires back plus a letter. 10/10 was week 4 day 2.... they have dates for battlestations and have earned a Zone Inspection flag. More opportunities for flags coming up.

Love and miss my daughter, how is she doing? Hopefully still with the DIV and moving forward. Have you heard?
I can try to fill in gaps of what they have been doing if you want me to in private message.

well i got 2 letters yesterday she is still with this Division she has to make up a PFA with a different Division and she also said their pictures were this week. if you can fill in the gaps that would be great sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get her to tell me whats going on i have been trying to get battlestation dates and all i get is toward the end of October.

For everyone who ordered ribbons to wear to PIR they have all been shipped even the ones that were ordered last night and this morning. You should have them within 2 to 3 days. It is not long at all until time for PIR and I know you are all EXCITED about that :-) If anyone missed out on ordering ribbons and would like to get them please contact me ASAP. I have a very quick turn-around and ship Priority mail so there is still plenty of time to get them to wear to PIR. SR told DIL that Div earned their Independent Seamen flag, so they can now march around without an RDC with them.
He also qualified as a sharpshooter. There were were only 2 who earned expert.
