You are not alone! It doesn't matter how old they are, still worry. My SR will kill me for saying this but, she will always be my baby!! She's 26 y/o.  Still worry!!

Things are really starting to get exciting...Captain's cup on Sat.  Has your SR said anything about Battlestations? If so, please message me the info!!

I ran across this link yesterday, check it out if you want to see what happens at Battle Stations:

Good morning all!  Here's something you might enjoy from Navy Dads (crank up the volume):

 http://www.navydads.com/video/video/show?id=2150375%3AVideo%3A28

He has notr said anything about battlestations.  He writes very little lol.  I am lucky if I get 5 sentences.  The only thing he said is I might want to go to O'Hare after 0300 if I wanted to hug him.  I hope the whole division is doing well but other than saying he misses us my son does not say a whole lot.

My son is not from a family of letter writers, we did good to send birthday cards, but he has been writing to friends, his girlfriend, cousins, his dad, me...  we are very fortunate.  We call each other and read the letters, and it's funny because he doesn't tell me about things that might make me worry, and he doesn't cuss in my letters.  :-)

The division earned a flag at their marching inspection.  Also, my son said the division as a whole gets along well, which is apparently not the norm.  They did get a "beating" Oct. 2 (push-ups and sit-ups) because some guys were playing with homemade dice which is considered gambling.  (I'm at work, gotta go.  Will give you more info later.)

yikes! she didn't tell me about that. Did say everyone was mad. The were promised phone calls and that didn't happen.
I bet that's why they were mad.  It's bad enough having to do all those sit-ups and push-ups.  But to lose the chance to make calls, that's tough!

Yes my daughter said that too that they were promised calls yesterday and at

the last minute they took it back. She said the whole division was sad and mad.

My son just wrote us about this website.  Wished we had known earlier.  Can't wait to see our soon next week.  We are staying at the Courtyard.

Welcome!! Wish you were here too! LOL.I'm very fortunate to have found this website while my SR was a Depper. Tons of great info & support here. Has made this time in BC much easier. Has your SR said anything about Battlestations? If so, please send me a message.  I'm dying to find out!! Tomorrow  is captain's cup. I did hear rumor of possible phone call.

We are staying @ Residence Inn.  Our flight doesn't get in til late. Don't know if we will make it to meet & greet.

thank you. I emailed Dianne to let her know.  Please see if you can delete post. Not supposed to post Battlestaion dates due to security.

This is very exciting!! thank you for news!!

ok did not know that it is now deleted. Thanks
