Anyone has a son/daughter in this Division? My son will graduate 12/02/2011 (estimated, I guess - we haven't gotten the formal letter yet). I'm so excited for him! And proud beyond belief!!! If you reply, please let me know where you live (at least the state) - I live in Texas (deep East Texas, close to Louisiana border).
Everybody hang in there! I know there is still lots of time left before we see our kiddos -- but they are going to be in such good shape (both physically and mentally). Their self-esteem is going to be great! We need to be strong for them!

My daughter is in this division. I just received her form letter today and was so excited to read the first line "I'm doing great!" She was worried about me washing the jeans she had sent home in "the box" because she had put a ring in one of the pockets. She wants lots of letters and pictures. I feel so much better now. She stated in her letter that we needed to be strong for her, so I will. It's a pleasure to meet you online . . . perhaps we will get to meet face to face in December.
BTW, I'm from West Virginia. I've never been to Texas except to catch a connecting flight from Colorado to WV. We have friends who used to live there and they say it's a very beautiful state.
:)
If any of you ladies are on Facebook, and haven't "liked" (or whatever they call it now) the US Navy Recruit Training Command page, you need to check it out. They just posted 43 pictures from today's PIR of the 900 divisions performing. I read somewhere on here that the SR's in the 900 divisions may get to perform for a couple of graduations prior to theirs. If we watch the FB page over the next several weeks, we might catch a glimps of our SRs. Wouldn't that be awesome!!
My daughter played percussion in the marching band in high school, so I'm guessing that's how she was choosen for this division, and she may be playing in the band.
I read in the discussion post for 09/015 that one got a phone call today. Said that division would be in week 1 day 5 tomorrow, but on time for graduation. She also said that they had received their mail and had a chance to write today. I'm not sure if that's for all divisions though.
