I still have to make arrangements for car rental and flight arrangement.  Does anyone know the best sites for affordable rentals and flights.  I will have to complete this task tonight.  Thank you for your response in advance.  Have a wonderful day.....Hooyah!

I have always had good luck with hotwire, but be sure to check the airline sites too. Also carrentals.com runs specials; sometimes cheaper than the package deals. Good Luck!

Thank you this information will assist me in comparrison shopping.  I appreciate the help :-)
I went with southwest, flying into Milwaukee and rented a car from Dollar off the Southwest site. It all seemed about the same but southwest was more convenient and no bag fees was a plus for me.

Thank you I searched Southwest earlier today and the cost was reasonable.  I am going online now.

I have used bing.com to find good deals.

Here are some great tips. First relaize that if you book far in advance you can save a ton of $$. Secondly, go directly to the airline's web site.  It's a lot cheaper. Rental cars, its is far less expensive to rent a car locally rather than paying big bucks. I know for a fact that you can rent for as little as 30 bucks per day. I have lived here since 1981 and know this area like the back of my hand. See the post and comments about me. Sarge is my nickname and I retired from the army with over 20 years service and I'm a seasoned traveler. Flying into milwaukee is always less expensive. Also check Spirit Air and US Airways. Any additional questions feel free to call me anytime. I don't know if its ok to post my number so here it is if you like to call 847-212-0246.  ps don't worry I have unlimited minutes.

Sarge..  Also see post about my free meet and greet every thursday.

I have my arrangements, I am so excited.  I wish I could have taken Southwest, but the best car rental for me was located at Ohara and Southwest did not fly to Ohara.  I am so grateful for all of the great information that I have received in these groups.  I shared the site with two friend that children leave for BC in January.  Thank you.
OldSarge, I am looking forward to meeting you at the meet in greet on November 9th.  I am prior service Marine Corps and my daughter's PIR is on the Marine Corps birthday.  Thanks for the wonderful information that you have shared.
