The recruiter gave me the wrong ship number, so sorry about that other post.  I just got the form letter, and it says ship 2.

Performance division!  I was thrilled to hear that my son is in this division.  He plays percussion, and hopefully doing something he enjoys will be good for him.

Anyone else here with a kid in this division?  Do you know what he/she will be doing at PIR?

Thanks for sharing navyboundkid! Didn't hear from my girl this week, but I'm so happy to hear that the division is doing well! :)

I've gotten three letters this week.  He said they can write on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays now.  I hope you're all getting tons of letters!  (But according to him we may not get many written this week).  Does anyone have news about the division in general?

Not so much, my son has been writing but he has lots of people to write to, also he was mad at me last week saying I wasn't writing enough :( so he has me in time-out right now!

For everyone who ordered ribbons to wear to PIR they have all been shipped even the ones that were ordered last night and this morning. You should have them within 2 to 3 days. PIR will be here sooner than you think and I know you are all EXCITED about that :-) If anyone missed out on ordering ribbons and would like to get them please contact me ASAP. I have a very quick turn-around and ship Priority mail so there is still plenty of time to get them to wear to PIR. Just send me a friend request on this site or an email to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com    Thanks everyone for making my ribbons a part of your very special event.
Did everyone find pics of your SR's on the RTC facebook page in their performance at PIR on Friday 10/28?
No do you have a web address for that page, I tried to look but could not find anything...

My son is assisnged to this ship, set for a 11/10/11 graduation. He has been sick and hurt his knee so far! I hope things get better for him!

Twinsmom I'm so sorry to hear that. I'll keep your son in my prayers. Hopefully he's on the mend, & is already back in his normal routine. I can't imagine what you're going through, but again, if you haven't heard from anyone, that's supposedly good news. Keep the faith! ;)

Any one else receive the call?  Mom I'm a Sailor!  So happy and proud & cannot wait to see my son Thursday!

No but my cell phone hasn't left my side all day! Crossing my fingers that it comes in soon!

Packed and ready to go!

Yes! I got my " i'm a Sailor" call about 3:00 this afternoon! Can't wait to see my son!
