Hope you get your letter today Lucy-Kennys Mom!

My son Christian is with your son Kenny, Ship 02 Division 905...we got our form letter Friday

didnt get it today... maybe tomorrow.  :)
Since our kids are Div 905 does that mean he is in the performance division...singers, musicians, flag carriers ??

how do you know what their division is doing?

I dont know. all I know that it says Div 900 is the performance division.  I dont know if that means (900) or all 900's (900 - 999).

It means ever DIV in the 900's are performing divisions. They are made up of the band, choir, drill team, and flag corp. But there are also non-performers in that Div. They work behind the scenes during PIR as greeters, taking care of VIP's and other jobs like body snatchers. But body snatchers can be from any division. To get in the 900 DIV they have to volunteer and may have to try out. They are also chosen for the 900 DIV based on high ASVAB scores.

Body snatchers walk up and down the isles during PIR looking for anyone who either is passing out or looks like they are about to. It is their job to catch them. The recruits have to stand in the same spot for a long time without moving and if they lock their knees it can cut off the blood flow and make them faint or pass out. But don't worry they recover quickly :-)

Thanks so much for your reply  :) Wow !!!  Very exciting for him, I wonder what he will be doing.  Body Snatchers....   hahaha that is funny
