Angie, I couldn't help but smile with your post :-) When I first moved to NC from CT back in '88, I was accustomed to driving in the snow, but, it's been such a long time. I would almost guarantee a bad outcome from being nervous alone! Do you know if Milwaukee has trams or shuttles from their airport to the base? thanks
I'm not Angie! Lol...but I tried to get a taxi for my mom from the base to the Milwaukee airport...couldn't find anyone able to do it. Maybe you'll have more luck than me!
I'm sure that the answer to my question may be in the guidelines, but, are we allowed to post our email addy? I'd like to contact my 'friend' on this board regarding sharing a shuttle from O'Hare to Ramada Inn in Waukeegan; I checked the fares for a shuttle; single passenger $95, 2 passengers $105 (57 each) and 3 passengers $39 each. Ramada offers free shuttle to the base as well.
I still have yet to receive a letter from my RS letting me know his division and grad date...getting anxious to hear from him!!
it's best to not post on the wall here, but you can private message her. Click on her user name and it will take you to her page. There will be a link to private message her on her page! Hope that helps.
