OK Ladies on our FB page somone posted that their SR informed them that some SR's are not receiving mail..... THIS CAN"T HAPPEN! We all know how important getting mail is to keep your spirits lifted.... so...... please send some letters out to some of the SR's that aren't getting any.

All you have to do is use the exact same address of your SR, but where the name is write SR Male or SR Female (depending on the gender of who you want to receive your letter).

Let's do this ladies. We need to make sure all the recruits get mail! Thanks!!

Will do starting tomorrow..

This is so sad, I asked my son to give me the names of SR's in his division that aren't getting mail.  Thanks for this idea.I'm going to purchase a bunch of greeting cards tonight!

Question ladies..... I always type up my letters to my son for two reasons.... #1 - my handwriting isn't too neat and #2 - I can type alot faster than I can write...... so for the SR's without mail, I am also typing a letter.... Do you think it's OK to send the same letter to more than one SR that isn't getting mail???
Here's an idea . . . I'm going to get a bunch of cards and pass them around church so people in our congregation can sign them and write in well wishes.  Then I can send out a bunch of mail to SRs who aren't getting mail.  With the RDCs distribute mail to male/females who aren't getting anything first??
I posted a question regarding sending cards/letters to SR's that not receiving mail on the RTC Facebook page and will let you know if/when they respond.
Attn Ladies: I posted the question of sending mail to SR's not receiving mail on the Naval RTC Facebook page and this is their reply:

U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command : All mail must have a recruit's name on it otherwise it will be returned to sender. We suggest if you wish to send cards to recruits, you send them to your own recruit and request he/she distribute the letters/cards to those recruits.

When I talked to my daughter Monday & asked her to get me the name s of the SR's who are not getting mail.  She said she would send them to me in a letter.  If I get any names today I'll post them so we all can send mail to them.

Remember you can't post names on here. You'll have to private message the group.
Lol..that's what I meant, I didn't get any names in my last bunch of letters so maybe she will send them this week.  I'll post that I have them & ya'll can message me so I can send them to you.

If you get any names please let me know!

I sent my SR an extra letter a few weeks back and asked him to pass it on to someone who doesnt get mail....dont know if it got handed off or not....i will ask him.
