Ladies, I ready on another thread/group about a great idea of how we can all spot each other at PIR. Other groups did something like all wearing the same colored scarf. I think it would be a great idea to come up with something like that (or even that exact idea) so that when we look out over the hall at PIR we can see all the ladies that we are chatting with here and becoming friends with!
What do you think? Suggestions?

I see you are 09 13 My son is 09 16. Is each Div doing something differant?
Are all div wearing the same? or is each div going with a different color?
I am new to the group what is the whole scarf thing and is it for ship 09 Div 015?
Welcome and hello! My son is Ship 07 Div 012 but he is graduating on 12/2 as I am sure if you found this group is the same date as your sailor. We decided to do the scarf so that we would recognize each other at graduation as someone we have been talking with, leaning on and just helping each other get through this time of missing our sons/daughters. I personally think that if all the moms/wives showed up with this scarf on it would say to our sailors that we love them and support their dreams/goals also. As good as they will all look up there we should look just as good back to them. We choose the scarf because it is the Navy Academy and the true colors of the Navy not to mention a very easy way that we all WILL be the same for them. It is not required just something special for all of us here.
Also since you are new to the group not sure if you have run across the meet and greet the night before graduation. Several of us will be attending this but some unfortunately can't. Again it is not a required thing but might be something that you will enjoy. I myself will be attending and promise to not have my crazy son face on. LOL
Hope you find it as inviting and welcoming here in this group as I have as many of these beautiful ladies have helped me several times!
I looked at your scarf the other day and thought how beautiful!
Where do we order the scarfs from?
