Hey I just found this website!

http://www.tdylodging.com/

They have a Per Diem calculator, just put in where you're moving to! Also have tons of temporary housing info but I don't think you guys will need that.

Also, there's an app for that. If you have a smart phone, search Per Diem on your phone's app store and there should be a tracker and or calculator available. Of course it's as easy as that after I've been scouring the Bethesda phone log for a number to call!!

lol :) thanks i have to find the number at san antonio too..

DId you tell his command that you are doing a DITY move? You get money up front to move yourself we got aroun 2000 for a move from PA to VA. Then got reimbursed about 3 months later
does he get to tell choose how he moves? he still didnt get his travel breifing. or should i call??

yes if you want to navy to move you you have to call and get it set up , if you do it yourself (dity) you move yourself and the navy reimburses you to a certain amount demending on weight and distance and so forth. Ask your husband if he can ask his command if they offer a CLass on DITY move, thats what my hubby did when he was in gulfport for a month before reporting to norfolk

Well we are driving to texas from florida, and who do I call to set up the movers??
