Welcome Mom's in this Division, we may get a scheduled call from our SR's today. My SR told me in a letter last week it was going to be Tuesday Nov. 22  They have Battle Stations so it may happen late? Please post if you get a call. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I have received two letter from my SR. Typically he says I don't have time to write an essay so I get no details of anything.

I have received 5 letters from my SR and most of them have been in response to what I write, never any details so it is good to hear what the group is going through.  Thanks so much, haymcdee, for taking the time to let us know what your husband has written.

These are the available flags to win. so they must be doing good 6 out of 8 and they are not done.

I got a letter today. He said they are all doing great and he is really enjoying everything now, Days go fast , said some have earned ribbons and pendant.

he sent a diagram he made as to where I will be sitting and he will be standing at graduation.

Wanted advise about saving plan and they had their picture taken  in Dress Blues.  He is not worried about battleship and said they are almost done and me and my mom group has no worries.

Glad to hear that they are doing so well now Melissa.

Hoping for a phone call today for my hubby (it's his birthday)...It would thrill him to hear from our SR today!

Did you get a telephone call?

No phone call, no letter...has anyone heard from their SR's this past week?

No phone call, but we did get letters this week. Sorry you didn't get letters Sara. Hang in there.

Hang in th

Just got my weekly letters in. This week will be the last round of letters they send. My SR called it their last holiday routine -- so I don't know what happens this coming Sunday. 07/11 and 07/12 are in battlestations as we speak, and he said they're call is tomorrow. They had their last firefighting drills Monday, and their final academic test today right before battlestations. On a whole, he said they're all doing okay - but everyone is exhausted. There has been a lot of literature published about how recruits are required to be treated a certain way (i.e. get 8 hours of sleep, etc.) under new rules and regulations - but he said that's all out the door when you're in there. Everyone has been averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night, but when they've done well, they can have 6. For thanksgiving they'll be in their service uniforms (peanut butters) and shiny dress shoes :) Dress blues for graduation! Letters were short and sweet - hell week did them all in, I think.

Thanks for the info haymcdee. I am looking forward to a call tomorrow. They are going to be exhausted. Maybe they can get a little rest after battlestations? Who knows. Now we all have to get through Thanksgiving without our kids. Sure is hard thinking that our son won't be with us for the holiday but glad to know they get to go have Thanksgiving dinner for adopt-a-sailor. Only a few more days until PIR.

Thanks Haymcdee! you are always so informative, It's much appreciated!  My SR has been on my mind constantly, I can't wait to actually hear his voice tomorrow! Hope everyone on here has a wonderful holiday & gets to talk to their SR.
