So sorry to hear that. We must count our blessings though and realize that he's on to a really good future! Luckily we can at least talk to them, keep them up as much as possible and try not to be too disappointed. I think it will just make it harder on them. They need to know we are behind them all the way and will see them at the first opportunity whenever that is. Keep your chin up and try to focus on helping him move forward to a good career!
Hi belle,
My SR told me that he will be leaving 12/2 as well. Grad in the morning, and needs to be at airport to ship out that afternoon! I am coming from WA, just bought my tickets. Looks like I will be flying home that afternoon too. Long way to travel for a couple hours, but I wouldn't change it for nothing! I miss him so.
Thanks for sharing that! It's hard but I wouldn't miss it for anything either! I hope we get more than 5-10 minutes which is what my SR said but if not at least we can be such proud moms and see them march at the ceremony!!! And who knows this all may change at the last minute!!!
Hello ladies. I have been getting frequent letters from my son which is really nice. We get around 2 a week. He qualified for a ribbon because he made sharpshooter. He also is now E-2. He passed that test and all the other ones so far. My only concern is right now is that my son has been telling me he is sick and has been for about a month, In his letter i got today he said he is getting worse, He has had a fever for 3 days and the chills and cough. He said he is blowing out blood when he blows his nose, I am so worried I dont think he has told anyone that he needs to see a doctor. He thinks he may have a sinus infection. He said he doesnt want to say anything because he does not want to take the chance of getting set back. I told him he needs to see a doctor. What do I do?

As worrisome as that sounds he will know what to do and will do what is necessary. These guys are young and strong and unfortunately we have no control at this point. Keep the faith...he will get over this!
My son is in Division 12 he said same thing exactly! how weird. I am in Wahington State, It takes too long to get letter he will be passed battlestation by the time he gets letter. Their body have gone through alot I think they are just getting runneddown alittle.
Good Morning- How is everyone doing? Just a couple of days and we will be in the single digits until we see our SRs. Can't wait to see him.. So much to tell him good and very, very sad.. I can't wait to meet all of you at Meet & Greet or PIR. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
