Submarine moms are special:

--- All of us have boys, "SAILORS!"

 --- Who serve on "boats,"

 --- With whereabouts unknown, and

--- We only get sporadic, short emails while they're out!

Tell us where your sailor serves...

Thanks candy-oh!  for your response. The commissioning takes place in Gulfport, Miss. The sub is being built in Groton.  My son is finishing prototype in Ballston Spa, and will then go to Groton for Suboc prior.   He basically said the same thing to me last week, it will be crazy.  I just thought he meant he wouldn't be able to spend time with me, but nevertheless, I will do what is recommended.  I don't believe your husband in building this one, as the name doesn't sound familiar from the Wikipedia site.

Anybody else have their sailor assigned to the USS Bremerton which is stationed in HI?

My son is stationed on USS Michigan.

My son is on the Mighty Monty.

my son justin is on the USS Nevada in Bangor, WA he just recently joined the crew he is a Mmfa ( torpedo mans mate and fireman apprentice)

Hi Karen,

Is Justin on the Blue or Gold crew? My son is on the Gold, it would be good to find someone on the same sub. Let me know.

My son serves on the USS Columbus in Pearl Harbor. He is a "Nuke"  Anyone out there a COLUMBUS parent?

My son is in Pearl Harbor and is a Nuke but is on the USS Bremerton.  I wonder if your son, DJ'SMOM, and my son possibly know each other.

It would be great to know a parent of someone he knows!!!

Hi everybody, My son just completed ELT and received his orders, he will be on the USS Seawolf, in Bangor. We are from the NW so it will be Great to have him back in town. It has been a long 2 1/2 years of school back in South Carolina.

My son Anthony is a MM3 on the USS Jimmy Carter. He's been in the Navy for 3 yrs. now. His dad, brother and I are very proud of him and we miss him very much.

Hi all, my CTI will be joining the USS Tucson soon.  Wishing all of our guys out there a wonderful Christmas while they patrol the Pacific.
