My son is on ship 03 div 55. Hope to here from you more moms, and love ones over the next 8 weeks. I can't wait for PIR.
My daughter is in Ship 03 Division 056. Wow you have one in Marines & one in Navy. Very impressive. My daughter left for BC on 11/28/11 so she has a ways to go yet. She had 2 weeks of processing, for some reason, so this week was her 1st week of training.
That's interesting. So are the boys and girls mixed for training? I guess they are in the same ship anyway.
I did hear that 55 and 56 are brother divisions and do the battleship stations together so I guess they do train together.
It's great to meet some from the same ship.
There are boys and girls on the same ship. But it is not coed. The girls are one floor and the boys are on another floor.
How is everybody doing I have been on the RTC facebook page. I herd from a mom that we just might get a Christmas call. So my cell phone is by side every min. now. I have been writing every day to my son. Sending pic of his animals. Even went to the zoo and took pic there. He so loves the zoo and animals. Hope everybody hopes are up and before you know it the 8 weeks are done. Shot we are now down to 7 weeks. The time is going fast. Hope to see some of you at the meet and greet Thursday before PIR. Will keep in touch with you all. love ya all.
That would be great if they got to call home. Our Marine son will be home so they could talk to each other too. We will stick close to the phone too and try not to get our hopes up too high. Thanks for the heads up.
you are welcome I just hope that they get to call home. If not I will not let that upset me. But I have asked Santa if he could do that for me. ha ha ha. We will see. Lets just hope and pray.
No letter here and hoping for one soon. We got our Marine home for Christmas and he even wrote his SR brother a letter.
