Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

No calls yet - the picture was a great surprise and hopefully more letters soon! I know they are very busy - I try to remain patient but I would love to hear his voice too!

No call but I loved the 055 056 picture too our SR son had a big smile. Everyone was over and got to see his picture on Christmas.
Our Marine left at 2 am so it's real quite around here now.
I'm hoping I get more letters tomorrow from Great Lakes. Hope we all do.

I got my first phone call from My Robby today! It was very emotional but I was so glad!

I received my first phone call today also, I was so surprised to hear, "Mom"? Definitely emotional but he sounded good and upbeat said he wasn't doing too bad and to keep the letters coming! I hope you all heard from your sailor today, too!
