Hello. I am a veteran mom with a son who had a SEAL contract. As you will eventually find out, spec ops divisions are a bit different than the other divisions. I am glad to help with any questions or support for this very bumpy ride. Best of luck to your sons.

Hi Camo-Mom, My husband is in the same group as your son. :)

welcome Travelbugg. Buckle up, its a wild ride.

sjtina - Thank you for being on here and helping out!

Hi everybody! my boyfriend is ship 04 and div 804 :) He wants to go SEAL. Do you know what the training schedule is including BUD/s and the different schools? like when he'll be where?

He will leave for BUDs in April and that is where he will stay for quite awhile. BUDs Orientation BO is 3 weeks long, then each of the 3 phases is 7 weeks. HW is in week 4 of Phase 1. Once your son gives you a leave date you can figure out the timeline from there. Good news is that they should be home for the holidays next year.

Courtney. sorry I meant boyfriend

oh great thank you so much!:)

@sjtina...Thanks!! Yeah, its already a bumpy ride!!! My question is, my husband said that once he's in budsprep he'll have internet and phone access (after I mail him back his cell phone.) But do you know, how much assess they will have? Obviously they are still in training, but do they get time each day? week? is it given as a privledge earned?

Travelbugg he will have nights and weekends to use his phone. Internet connection is hard to get, but they seem to find it. Usually near the windows lol. Its a wonderful thing, you will be able to talk to him everyday. Are you going to PIR? You can take all that stuff with you and give it to him then.
