Any one with loved ones in this division yet? My daughter left Dec 12th. I haven't received a letter yet from her, but I was able to get the Information from the recruiter.

I posted some pictures from the Midway trip. There is one of the girls in the racks, I hope the racks are bigger now. The USS Midway was built in 1942 and it seams that the kids are much taller now. lol

I've been worried about my son being able to stretch out. Which place did you book your hotel at?

We booked at the Navy Lodge.

Oh make sure you call them, they need your recruits information for the reservation.

I live in NC and going to PIR.  Staying at the Navy Lodge.  The note on my nephew's form letter was upbeat.  Waiting on the first "real" letter.

I found this and I had no idea there was a facebook site for boot camp. You have no idea what it means to me to see my husbands face in that picture! This has been the hardest thing not hearing from him (just his form letter) and it made me so happy I blatted. Our daughter was excited to see him too. Thank you so much!

Awwwww where is your SR in the ohoto?

He is in the middle of the right side in the back,. he is somewhat short ( 5ft 6) so i'm not quite sure why they wouldn't have him in the front but there is a gap behind his head and his hat looks way too big, its kinda hard to see him but its him none the less and I am absolutely thrilled!

I cried when I saw my son. It was a huge relief/comfort to see he was ok.
He's on the right side standing. Big tall guy broad shoulders with the fashionable glasses ha.
The division looks good!!! Still no letter.

Happy New Years Everyone.  :)

Happy New Year!!

My daughter left Dec 12 and is on ship 03 division 071 too. still waiting for that first "real" letter since the note on the back of the form letter! We are a Navy family, my husband retired in '04, my son enlisted in '04, and now my baby girl is at boot!  I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with you all.
